When he is at home he has to have a rest on his bed he usually reads books but he knows that he has to stay in his bed. Sometimes he will fall asleep but if he doesn't its not that bad we just make sure he goes to bed early.

I also try to have quiet time when Benjy sleeps in the afternoon, reading books or watching a dvd. Just to give me that time out and break from demands!

He had been going to bed at 7:30, but now always goes to bed between 6:30 and 7. When taine sleeps (or should I say, is supposed to be sleeping) we have "quiet time" where Jake watches a dvd on the couch with his duvet and pillow. a couple of times he has fallen asleep there, but not often. I think from recall we also moved dinner time....we started having afternoon tea as well. the dvd time was good as gave me some "me" time too.

I have no experience in this area, so hopefully some of our other mums can give you their thoughts. Hugs!

Just wondering when your kids did this? And did you do anything different, ie different things together (or by themselves) instead of that sleep time? or change of bedtime at night?

I think I'm really struggling with not having "me" time at a set time every day. I knew it would come, and most of the time Kryssi's awake when B&H have been sleeping anyway, but the mental exhaustion has been a bit more than usual lately.
