Yes my 4 y.o is like that too! He's very sensitive at the moment & DH & I were thinking he's getting too sooky, but now I'm hearing it's common for this age, so am being more sensitive to him. I think i now get what they mean when people give you that knowing look and say that the year before they start school you'll KNOW they are ready to go...

at our house we get "no body loves me! everyone thinks im stupid" or "mummy likes *insert name here* more than me!"

Rescue Remedy is fine for them, I know some people give it to their babies to help settle them. I've only given it to Maya once, after she bumped her head and got really upset.
I just rang her at her friends to say goodnight and she says she misses Daddy and her babies. snap emma, we are going through that with xanthe at the moment - cries over extremely little things (like the cat running away when she wants to pat him, or being told to put her shoes away) i really dont know what the answer is, i know i was extremely sensitive as a kid (just hid it well ) and i dont want my girls to be like that.
xanthe also gets *sore tummies* in stressful situations, and i can so identify with that. i wonder what age they can take rescue remedy????

I've noticed lately that Maya seems to be a lot more sensitive than she used to be, she gets quite emotional at times. She's been away with me lots of times before without Willie but when we went down to Palmy a couple of weeks ago she sobbed half the way down coz she missed her Daddy. And this morning I dropped her off at a friend's for a sleepover (which is totally her choice, it's not like she HAS to go!) and she kept saying "but I'll miss my baby sisters".

Is anyone else's preschooler going thru this? It's kind of cute on the one hand but I don't want her to be unneccesarily anxious or emotionally stressed out.
