You might be able to put a sticky plaster on it and see what he does. He probably won't like the taste, whether he figures out how to take the plaster off or not will be interesting. You could maybe try lasinoh (sp?) the lanolin cream. I have a 16 month old son who sucks his thumb. We don't have an issue with the thumb sucking, but his thumb is now red & raw. Does anyone know if there is anything (cream etc) that we can use on his thumb to help heal it, or prevent it getting worse?
