I started IVF last month and due to have egg collection at the end of November. We had been trying to conceive for 5 years. If we'd known both my fallopian tubes were blocked we wouldn't have kept trying for so long! We're with Fertility Associates in Auckland and they have a really long waiting list for public funding so we went privately. Hi wishful welcome to OHbaby! sorry that you have been TTC for so long, the rollercoaster of infertility isn't fair at all! good news that you are now eligible for IVF, we have also just been put on the public funded IVF waiting list so will be doing that middle of next year if nothing happens in the mean time. what fertility treatments have you done? and do you have explained infertility? There are a few people who are/ have gone through IVF.

You could PM LeahL she went through IVF recently but with no sucess (I know thats not what you want to hear) but she belongs to another forum and has always been really helpful! HI everyone
This is my first time on this website so hopefully I am doing this right! Have been TTC for 3 years now and no luck despite, it seems trying everything under the sun. Have appt with specialist in 2 weeks to discuss starting IVF which we are apparently now eligible. Feeling nervous, apprehensive and excited. Nice to know that there are others out there going through the same thing as friends and family find it hard to know what to say.
