Thanks girls. The only reason I thought to go with the booster rather than a hemp/mf trifold is because I have the mf inserts already so thought getting a hemp booster to add would be a cheaper option. I use a double-layer hemp trifold underneath my mf for nights which works brilliantly for 12+hrs but is way too bulky for days.

I got mine from www.pikobaby.co.nz.
They've worked really well for me in combination with microfibre inserts.

Any hemp booster will do fine. All hemp boosters (in a pad form) will be far more trimmer than microfibre inserts. There's plenty of places you can get them from including my website.

The other option is a microfibre/hemp trifold. It's one layer of microfibre and one layer of hemp sewn together and then you fold it in 3. Hi all,

I've just found this site - so nice to find a forum board in NZ, I'd previously been posting on Baby Centre UK's cloth board.

I have 2 kiddies - Grace is nearly 4yrs old and Leo is 15mths. I've been using Fuzzis on Leo since he was 5mths and up until a month ago we got away with just the standard microfibre insert during the day. But he's recently started having longer stretches between wetting so the volume of wee has seemed to increase. I started adding a microfibre booster which seemed to do the trick, however in the last couple of days I've had to change him every 2-3hrs during the day and have found both mf inserts to be sopping wet! I'm now thinking I might have to use a hemp booster with my mf insert but my experience with hemp is limited to night nappies so wondered if anyone could recommend a good hemp booster for day use - preferably something slim - that would work well in a Fuzzi?
