Haleigh did that to, but she has always had the weight for it not to be a huge problem.
have you tried the fruit ice blocks yet? that sounds like a good idea, might try it with boo shes a fruit addict atm.
kids wont starve themselves so as long as shes still eating something and keeping up her fluids she should be all good

do you give her a cool bath or paddle in pool in the arvo while it real hot? might help

yeah Rhiannon is turning down chocolate as well...i do know that by 2pm she is really hot and grumpy and out of sorts, i did see our doctor last friday, and he wasnt at all concerned, gave her a good check over, which is how we found out about the viral infection...and he did say that with the heat kiddies will eat less but wont starve, which is great to know, and Rhiannon is happy enough in herself, she is running around playing heaps in the morning, while its cooler, and just quieter in the arvos while its hot.

Hmmmm....I wonder if it is their age Kaz? Charlotte is only a couple of days younger than Rhiannon and we are having the same problem. Yesterday she ate about 2 mouthfuls of egg, a couple of twisties at my work Christmas party and a single lolly, then a handful of grated cheese last night at dinner time. And no kidding, thats it! We tried offering her everything and anything, even chocolate to see if she would actually eat something she normally loves but we were met with a big fat NO on each offer! Even the chocolate!!!!

okay so i know that its really hot, i mean its 7.30am here and 18 degrees already, shes had a viral infection for the past week and she is trying to cut her 2yr old molars (thankfully the last of her teeth).

She is drinking plenty so there is no worries there, and she will have cereal for breakfast, plus a piece of toast or a biccie, but thats about all i can get her to eat, as the day goes on and it gets hotter she just refuses to eat, and it doesnt matter what i offer she just doent want it.

I have tried, popcorn, cold cuts, carrot sticks, pieces of fruit, icecream (she will eat 1/2 scope at most), ice blocks (which she likes, lemonade, but dont want her living on those), cheese, yoghurt.

I am going to make some pureed fruit iceblocks to see if she will eat those, but she is losing weight and given thats shes only 10kgs to start with, i dont really want her losing much more.
