Moving Michaela into the big bed was such a non-event, it was so easy and she's now back to sleeping through the night again (yay) rather than waking herself up banging against the side of the cot. In fact she loves her big bed so much she often goes up there during the day to pretend to sleep or climb under the covers and read a book (girl after my own heart).

Now we just need to TT but DH has told me he doesn't want to because we have carpets so I need to convince him first.

In the end we gave up on TTing cos we needed to get some sleep and within a few sleeps she had settled in her big bed. You could put her in the new bed first and then if all is going well start TTing a few days after that as the bed one should be over with quickly. Rather than TTing first which could take a while. We had no issues with moving to a bed either, so I think we could have been TTing at the same time.
