I haven't been there yet either and it also has me pondering somewhat

My sis found it easier to leave wet wipes in the loo and the kids could use those to wipe their bums with themselves rather than loo paper - they were used to them anyway and it was much easier for the littlies to get it all, instead of just smearing it everwhere. Don't know if they flush tho? I wiped Maya's bottom after poos for a long time too, she would sit there and call out "wiiiipe my booooottom!", and I swear, she always waited until I was in the middle of a meal!

I get my daughter to yell out when she needs help, after thrush and a urine infection she really doesnt need to learn in such a hurry, as long as she is going on the toilet and not in pants i am happy.

I've tried modelling and she gets most of it, but it's the finer details ya know? And the fact that her arms aren't long enough! haha

Hannah has finally got it!

Briona is so stubborn about doing these things for herself. She started TT at Christmas and is wiping already, although not always very well. maybe its just of one those behaviours she will just get from modelling... lol!

Ella wipes and then comes and lets me check for her.
I've tried to teach her about wiping front to back but I have no idea whether its sunk in or not.
She goes through a heck of a lot of toilet paper though!!

OK, little bit TMI for those who are not initiated into the graphic nature of my posts.

How the heck do you teach a kiddo to wipe properly?!?

I'm trying to get Hannah to wipe herself as I know they let them fend for themselves at creche and she ends up horribly red and stingy once we get home. Not even mentioning the lack of wiping after poos!!!

And the issue of wiping from front to back to avoid bacteria getting into her vagina and what not.

I just tried an experiment of getting Han to wipe herself now and she ended up just smearing it everywhere. ARGH.
