Heh _ remember having all my toys put in a rubbish bag when I was little. I had to earn them back by being good before rubbish day, or they went out! I think I got everything back... My sister puts my nieces toys into time out! They stay there for days on end but it seems to do the trick.

I'm like you CuriousG I usually just start cleaning myself but make sure I look and sound like I'm having a ball doing it and Michaela usually wants to join in. I am sooo sick of the arguments too and am so tired, I just give up and clean up the mess myself. I usually find that once I start it actually kicks DH and DD off the couch and they help me too. I've done that and Andrew didn't get them back for a few days. He learnt his lesson.

Maybe pack up several toys so there is a small box worth only left available. The other ones aren't going in the rubbish, just for a break. Put them high in a cupboard one time she is asleep. i have done that and actually put toys in the bin... i still have to fight to get them to pick them up. am in the middle of one now. when they finally do it they can watch a movie...

Oh my god im so sick of Rhiannon taking a toy out and not putting it away, that i asked her 5 times to pick her toys up in her room and i kept getting "no no no", so i said to her "if i have to pick your toys up im putting them in the rubbis"....she just looked at me and picked up a toy and threw it across the room.
