    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=9914">Kim</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 15092<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 06 March 2008 at 2:18pm<br /><br />For Babies Aged 6 months +<br /><br />1/2 tbsp vegetable oil<br />50g leeks, washed and chopped<br />1 large chicken thigh on the bone (about 175g) skinned and trimmed of fat<br />200g carrots peeled and chopped<br />250ml unsalted chicken stock<br />50g frozen peas<br /><br />Heat the oil in a pan and saute the leeks for 2 mintues.<br />Add the chicken and saute for another 2 minutes until sealed.<br />Tip in the carrots and pour over the stock.  Bring to the boil, cover and simmer for about 20 minutes.<br />Add the peas and cook uncovered for 4 to 5 minues.<br />Remove the chicken with a slotted spoon and take the flesh off the bone.<br />Blend the chicken and vegetables in a food processor with as much cooking liquid as necessary to make the right consistency for your baby.<br />]]>
