I have taken note of the last 2 days and am sticking to his strict diet....lets see how long it lasts

Hmmmm, I hope some answers appear for you soon.  Are you keeping a diary of the reactions?  Might pay to take a pic if you have a digital camera of any significant ones, and note down the date and anything that he's been exposed to - what he ate beforehand (though reactions can be delayed too, which is a pain), any change in environment... see if a pattern appears.

Ok so 10 minutes and $100 later! Phew I am in the wrong profession!

We are heading down the asthma track. I walked away feeling better about it all. He says his sleep is due to his chest/flem(sp?) and coughing.

We have Ventalin now and are to give it to him every time he coughs...although he has informed me it is a stimulant....like we need any help there.
If it helps we are to go back and he will help us with preventing further.
We also go back in August to have all allergies tested again.

Grr the hives went away and came back last night...very random!
We are both feeling better today, he slept from 8.30 - 5.30 and me from 9.30 - 5.15. He was in a nice mood! and so was I as he stayed in his own bed

HAnnah gets random hives all the time too - tonight she had a few on her face and I have no idea what they were from.

Ugh, poor Tyrell!

My girls are the masters of stealth hives - as in completely random hives that have no obvious cause. Maya used to get them all over, Sienna only seems to get them on her face. Mind you, I get what my doc describes as "stress hives" when I get run down so maybe they inherited it from me...

have you taken him to a new environment lately? like a different park or something?

charli has never had any problems with allergies apart from 'asthma' mostly when she has a cold but DH took her to a park one afternoon and the next day, her cheeks were bright red like sunburn and she had red splotches all over her body. dr's said it was hives and gave her a syringe of something (can't remember what it was called) and the redness went away the next day.

I have been able to bring the appointment forward to Monday. (I rang just after someone had cancelled )

It must be so frustrating to not have any real answers yet..I hope you can get some clarification soon. If the doc is happy to do allergy test earlier then why not? If you're gonna do it later anyway..

I used to get hives when I ate too much of certain types of fruit when I was younger (although, also had asthma so wheezing was always there). I remember having phenergan quite often as a child whenever there were hives and allergy related symptoms..

The hives didn't seem to bother him so will leave them Thanks again!

He is under Dr Liang for his allergy testing and we aren't due to see him until August. Which we were going to have the tests done again, skin prick and bloods. Maybe I should just bring the appointment forward. Oh you poor things. You dont need to do anything about the hives as such, unless they are extremely itchy and dont go away, or get worse. Keeping the area cool, or if real bad use cold flannels to cool the area, and u can use calamine lotion too.

But if u have no idea what he reacted to, and with the wheeziness, sounds like he should be getting some sort of allergy testing done to work out whats going on. I would be going back to GP til I got answers!

So my DS has woken with hives on his face this morning!
We have never had them before and I don't know what to do....if anything.

He has been very wheezy for over a week now. Which I no longer know if that is a reaction to food or he is having problems with asthma. The Dr wont diagnose asthma till he is 5. So I have no help there.
He has salamol which I have been using, DS even went and got it out of his bag yesterday when he was really bad and said "huffer plise mumma"

Do you think I need to do anything about these hives?
