Get a friend over, it helps on power (heating) bills and gives you company at the same time. Can she use scissors yet? Although cutting paper is rather a messy game! Jigsaw puzzles or reading together?]]>

It is still a few months before DD goes to kindy so this entertaining all day is a bit new to me.<br />One rainy day down, 1000000 to go]]>

Is there a mall or mcd's nearby with a playground? why not take kids there? we live in south auckland, and there is a lil playground outside the toy world and inside the toy world in manukau westfield. i find that pretty good. i can sit and watch and DS entertains himself really well. actually.... that's what we could do this week... lol]]>

We love that here and the best thing is it entertains both of mine.<br /><br />I made Jack a fishing game the other day. Cut out a whole heap of fish shapes, let her colour them in, put a paper clip on each one, tye a magnet onto a pencil and you are away. <br /><br />Get a spare mattress out and do rolly pollies<br /><br />play with play dough ($2 shop has heaps of neat accesories to use)<br /><br />Go through old photo albums and make a special book for her<br /><br />dress up warm and let her play outside for a wee bit<br /><br />do some baking<br /><br />Hope that helps a bit]]>

I am about to make a tunnel inbetween the couches with blankets, hopefully that will last for half an hour or so which will bring us to lunch time, then ahhhhh, what to do]]>
