That's a good point Stacey - roll out fleece usually alloows more room for stuffing inserts which does help with leg gaping, especially at night or for heavy-wetters.

I think it's one of those things like velcro vs poppers - everyone has their own personal preference for different reasons! I have both stitch down and roll out fleece and I use both - I just prefer the softness of roll out (but haven't used either pre-5mths!).

I like roll out too. Much softer on babies thighs. I don't think either one is better they both have their uses. I prefer rollout fleese for night time but stitched down during the day.

Some people prefer rollout to stitched down and vice versa.

I have itti bitti dlish and bumgenius. I think the dlish might have the roll out fleece from what you describe.

I was wondering if one was 'better' than the other but it sounds like the rolled out ones are a bit friendlier. What nappies do you have. Tweedle do roll out fleece and fuzzi's and HC are stitched down. It is a lot nicer on their thighs.

You wouldn't notice the fleece from the outside if you weren't looking. It sits right on the seam, the inside of the seam being fleece and the outside being PUL or whatever waterproof fabric you use. I really like 'roll out' fleece on my chubby toddler as I think it's more comfortable

It's the difference between the legs on Fuzzi Bunz vs Foxybots. Fuzzis have stitched down leg holes but Foxys don't. Do you know what I mean by the difference in these 2?

What do they mean exactly when they say roll out fleece around the legs? Does it mean that there is fleece visible around the leg from the outside rather than just seeing the PUL cover?
