LOL - after seeing Leo's huge bum tonight nothing could be bigger (or more gorgeous) than a DB hemp fitted & merino cover, but it didn't seem to bother him in the slightest. I took pictures which I'll try and upload tomorrow - I can just see the caption now..."Does my bum look big in this?"

We are currently using a Monkey Doodlez fitted with a superbrite cover + a Doubler and a tweedle hemp/microfibre trifold. Makes for a massive nappy but see's my mega wetter through the night 13 hours no leaks. I am actually going to order some more from Mothers Instinct because it is just so good.

I agree that the covers might need relanolizing. I've just done Leo's longies and it was super easy and not at all messy using solid pure lanolin. I bought it from the chemist from the pharmasist, much cheaper than buying the prepackaged stuff.

Maybe they do need to be lanolised. Is going OK so far, I've been using the Bitti Boos with either covers or a soaker and so far so good.
I'm less impressed with the soakers, Mercedes one was saturated when she woke up yesterday, as was her sleep sack, but I wonder if that's coz they need lanolising? They were fine the first couple of nights. Also, the dye out of the wool has bled onto the velour of the nappies

But with the Bummis covers they seem to work beautifully, so might keep the soakers to use as pants coz they are super cute!

I've just ordered some Totsbots fluffies fitteds to try from Snazzipants and some extra boosters coz I only have 4 and I can never find them when I need them.
