The large DBs nappy starts from 14kg so I think they'd definitely fit your little guy - but I can understand the money side, it was really hard for me to justify spending the money but I worked that if I just bought sposies for night-only it would only be 4mths worth to pay off this nappy & wrap combo, and hopefully it will fit him til he's toilet trained at nights.

My son is a whooping 15kg and 18mth. He doesnt look it but trying to pick him up is tough work lol.

You should look at the Designer Bums hemp fitted nappies. I just bought one for Leo, with an extra bamboo booster, and it's fantastic. It's so gorgeous and really soft with HEAPS of absorbancy. Leo has recently become a heavy wetter (hard to believe that at 6mths he wore a Fuzzi for 12hrs with just a mf insert & a doubler!!) but the outside of the DB fitted was only just slightly wet, not soaking. I got Leo a large & got extra snaps put on, but he wears them on the tighest setting (excluding the extra snaps) and it's a perfect fit. He's 20mths & 13kg.

I forgot to add I have even tried putting a microfibre insert arount the band of his PJ pants to try and sto pthe leaks......to no avail of course lol

I have tried everything I am now ready for the looney bin...well not quite but Alize is wetting thru everything EVERY night..Argh I am beside myself.

Things I have tried:

Huggies nappy with empty pocket cover
Huggles nappy with pocket stuffed with 2 Microfibre inserts and a trifold hemp
Huggies nappy with stuffed pocket and plastic pants on top
Large fuzzi stuffed with 2 double layered microfibre mega sockers and a trifolder hemp with plactic pants cover..

OMGosh he has wet thru every combo.

I think I need longies to help stop the lecks but have no idea where to get any to fit him. I have just received a wool socker from foxybots but its too small for Alize chubby legs and its the largest size.

He wet thru the top so his whole waist is wet. I think it also has alot to do with tummy sleeping as well as being a heavy wetter but I have tried all I can and I need help.......any advise appreciated!
