Yeah, GO the allergy support group!  I'm finding it good, Aimee.  And I'm very grateful to you for running it as well (and that nobility thing Deb, it's Aimee's baby really - she's the one with the goods!).

Been meaning to post this for a while, in case there is anybody out there who doesnt post and lives near here. I run an allergy support group for those affected by allergies and their families - we have food allergies, eczema, reflux.... It is an informal gathering in a child friendly environment, where parents can relax and not worry about their kids being around food.

We meet at 10am on the second Thursday of each month at the Plunket Rooms in Dannevirke. We have someone come over from Palmerston North and I think we may have a few coming from Pahiatua, so its not just for Dannevirke people. PM me for directions if needed.

Next month we will be meeting on June 12 and we have a mum coming to speak to us about how she managed the preschool years with her sons severe food allergies (starting kindy and school, birthday parties etc) and she is also going to be touching on some products for eczema as she works in a pharmacy.

Plans for the future - dietician, alternative treatments from a naturopath/osteopath, eczema nurse, asthma.
