I thought it was relating to the cream and not the washing powder. Powder seems fine - it is when they have tonnes of fillers and fragrance etc that you seem to get increased build up.

As far as cornflour paste - it is water soluble so I imagine it'd be fine with no liner. eco store doesn't stick to fleece unless you use tons of it.

She might be allergic to something in the powder. Yeah that's what I'm going to do, first step is getting rid of rash completely, then stripping nappies etc , just to start with a clean slate so to speak. But just curious if anyone had heard of this or had it
happen.

Oh and someone at Nappy Days told me that Eco store powder can 'stick' in the nappy and she recommended persil sensitive ????? It could be the powder - you never know! Just because most people find it great doesn't mean that Rohann isn't having a reaction to a particular ingredient in it. Try going a couple of weeks without it and see if the rash disappears. Then reintroduce the powder and see what happens. If she's still fine then the rash was probably caused by something else. If the rash reappears then you know the powder was the culprit!

I was going to start a seperate thread on another section on the forum but as it's being discussed I'll start here. Has anyone heard of Curash causing a rash? Rohann has had a rash (mostly gone now) that I thought was being caused by her fitted night nappies, but not so sure now. Yup, curash is awesome. I haven't even used my samples of sudocream or benpathen yet. If a cream has zinc in it you really need to use a liner with it if you are using MCN's, that includes things like Bepanthen. I use Johnsons baby powder with cornflour at every nappy change. I love that it dries up all the creases and keeps his bottom feeling dry & smelling fresh. The only time we ever get a sore bottom is from teething, which isn't very often (3 times in 21mths).

We just use curash powder, it washes off the nappies fine and works well too. I was ready on TNN that there are a few nappy rash creams that are ok to use on MCN's. I thought you couldn't use creams, as it left a build up on the MF?? So my question is, are there really creams you can use which are ok, and if so do they work well? I am using sudocrem on Sophie at the moment, and find it works well, but I would prefer to use something that is kinder to my nappies if I can.
