Cut crust off bread, spead with marmite or cheese spread, roll up, then nuk in microwave for 1min30sec or so. Turns out nice & hard & easy to hold. Kalyx just loves them

There is a really good baby biscotti recipe in the Simon and Allison Holst book "Baby Food and Beyond".
