I forgetfully gave up the night nappy after a week!! I'm looking at her now as she eats her icecream, thinking she's still too little to be outta night nappies so soon! I'd give it a try for a couple of nights. The nights are really cool at the moment so there might be a little adjustment at first because I'm sure a nappy bum is a lot warmer just just pj's! She has night TT faster than my girls have/did but sounds like she's ready. I was shocking with brooke i still put training pants on (pull ups) at night even though she would go weeks without wetting it. Brae clicked with the night TT & day TT round the same time. We take Ella to the toilet for dream-wees when we're going to bed, just in case there's any there.
7/10 times she doesn't need to go and stays dry anyway but the other 3 times its saved having to change the bed!

Yeah I think I'd need a plastic cover on her mattress, just in case. It can't hurt to try, a plastic sheet on the mattress would minimise any mess.

i'm in a similar situation with jack.....but he doesn't sleep during the day so i'm scared to leave him all night without a nappy

I had heard girls were easier to TT, but Gia did seem to take longer than what Rico did. One day when he was 2 yrs 3mths he just started going by himself and never had accidents. Gia started about the same age, and had a lot of accidents initially, but then one day it must've just clicked and she's been great since.

Rico didn't stop wearing a nappy for his day-sleep till he was over 3, and like I said earlier, still wears one to bed at night, and it's wet and full every morning.

She surprised me at how fast she was at being dry at night and day sleeps after toilet training during the day.

Hi guys

Wondering if anyone else has had this with their child when toilet training.

We started TT Gia earlier this year. Got off to a slow start, then (as they do), she got really good with going and now is a pro!

Thing is, I've still been putting a nappy on her for her afternoon and night sleeps. Thinking she'll still need to be in one for quite some time. (Rico has been Toilet Trained for 2.5 yrs and still wears a nappy to bed at night and wets). But for the past month or so, she hasn't been wetting her nappy during her arvo sleep, and 9 times out of 10, doesn't wet at night. I've stopped putting a nappy on now for her day sleeps and she's never wet (YAY!), but am too scared to not put one on her at night.

Anyone else found their child's been this quick to give up the nappy altogether for their sleeps?

I know all it will mean if she does wet, is she'll wake up and i'll have to change her bed, not too much of a biggy. But still am scared to so! She hasn't wet in about over a week!
