Lees Street is really good but i think its quite expensive these days and run more as a private kindy and can be quite hard to get into.

Im in Invers born and breed and moved back here from CHC to have Josh and now were are thinking we might stay here and have been looking at houses. Its not that bad weather wise here we almost never get snow just rain and i reckon CHCH is colder than here. Im in windsor which is a nice area and anything north of St Andrew's street is good for school zoning not sure if kindys are zoned or not down here.

What does your partner do?

Lees Street kindy is very good of what people have said. Is is very cold here just turned up the nightstore not lookiing forward to the power bill lol.

Great - I was wondering if there were any other mums down there!!!! I think my son would be about 3 months younger than your daughter.
I am trying at the moment to get my daughter onto a kindy list but is more difficult as don't know exactly where we will be living....

Hi, Due to my husbands work, we are moving to Invercargill for a year in January 2009. this is quite daunting as I will have a little 2 month baby plus a 21 month old and a 3 1/4 yr old. Our families all live in whangarei so no support networks available. I am keen to start getting to 'know' some other mum's in the Invercargill area so that I don't feel so lost when I get there. Any one interested???
