I like a velcro opening nappy that does up like a nappy, rather than a pull-up, because I imagine it would be much easier if there ever was a poo to clean up!

I use one of my homemade pockets so i'm not ruining a $25 nappy probably an $8 nappy.

I did have a small nappy that I can't remember the brand name and it was good.

I definitely wouldn't use my pockets in a public chlorinated pool on a regular basis. I do swimming lessons with Leo each week and my togs get ruined from the chlorine - Grace goes through a pair of togs every 2 terms from chlorine damage! I'd rather use a $19 swim nappy than a $25+ pocket nappy!

Most swimmers are made with PUL and another swim type fabric so they will keep poos in.

good idea using an unstuffed pocket.... I am also looking for another swim nappy as we are going to Raro in just over a week and our current one takes ages to dry... but I want a swim nappy that is lined with fabric as Ava's poo's are very explosive and liquid so think the mesh stuff would not contain anything...??!?
Does the chlorine in pools affect a normal nappy at all??

We have monkey doodlez and they work fine. He's never pooped in his thankfully though. The gremlins have the Bummis ones from Snazzipants too, was gutted coz when I bought them they only came in blue and red, now they have a whole range of funky colors! They work fine, seal in nice and tight around the leg to catch any floaties. I have tried Kushies & Swimmis and I much prefer Swimmis (made by Bummis). I bought mine from Snazzipants. The elastic in the Kushies were quite tight and I found the sizing small, but the Swimmis is really comfortable and a good fit - Leo is still in the large, even though he's at the end of the weight range (9-13kg) - and he has heaps of room to grow in it! I think they're about $19, although it's been a while since I bought it.

I've got 2 for K - one from JK and the other from The Warehouse. I know there are leading MCN brand swimmers out there (Real Nappies, Monkey Doodles...) but have found thes work really well. From memory the Warehouse one was $8/9?
