I do notice she fills the pants out more in cloth rather than disposable, but as I said they still fit fine. Odd.

He still goes up to the next size a bit earlier than he would have in sposies but for the amount you save (and the ease of BG) I don't care. I bought PP pants with the adjustable waists (they were on sale recently) in 6-12 months and rolled up the leg twice. Obviously I could've bought smaller but I'm a tightass!

It sits against the nappy so doesn't leave marks on her skin, but it's tight all the same. If we put her in 3-6 month pants the legs are massive!

I am going to get some Jack & Abby jeans for "town clothes" but need some cheap everyday pants for her! Any suggestions? Has anyone tried making their own?

Also thought I was going to need new body suits as her one seemed tight to do up under her nappy this morning - on closer inspection her nappy was half way down her bum! Must have been a bit sleepy...

Have a fantastic day everyone!

I just had a thought - if you're using a OSFA nappy on a newborn then it will be much bulkier to start with and that's probably why you're finding it hard to fit somethings over top. Once your baby fills out a bit the nappies won't seem so bulky. I think if you were to use a sized nappy then it would be a trimmer fit.

Vic xx

From memory we got a lot from TNT.

Stacey - we've done the exact same thing with our J&A jeans. The waist is huge on all of the sizes I've bought her but I just tacked them in and have let them out as she grew. Caprece is in 6-9 months and they are so loose around the waist too. By the time they fit them around the waist they will be too short.

Baby factory have really cheap trackpants but they aren't the flashest looking pants.

Also, with bodysuits I found them a bit of a pain with cloth nappies so I just switched to singlets that didn't do up underneath or switch to wool bodysuits as they have heaps more stretch than cotton (and don't cause compression wicking like cotton can).

HTHs!

Vic xx

We got size 1 for Daniel but it's more like a 2 or 3. So we got the 6-9 month ones and it falls off him its so big in the waist so must be worn with a belt and I've taken it up in the legs because they were just so long
