Basically, they have said that there is nothing else they can do unless i go thru IUI or IVF.  I ovulate fine, even with PCOS - and DH has near perfect sperm.  Unexplained infertilty is the hardest to come up with solutions for since you don't know exactly why things aren't working. 

I found that when I was on clomid that my AF was different to normal too.  It was shorter and not as nasty. I went from a 7 dayer to a 4 dayer with one heavy day if that.   Also - clomid did crazy things to my LP - I ended up with a 17 day (!!!!!) LP.  I would O on CD13, and AF would arrive until CD30/31.  Very annoying.

But - I am lucky in a lot of respects.  I have gotten pregnant 3 times without assistance, even if 2 times I did end up losing the babies.  I still have Bethany, which I am grateful for.  But its still incredibly hard to deal with the fact that she will likely be our one and only.  You go in with all these plans about having children, and what sort of age gap you are gonna have, and it's all blown out of the water.

Im on my 3rd cycle of clomophene not too sure as to whether ive had a proper AF or not. I started spotting which went to lite for 4 days & has now completely stopped & my temp as gone up am wondering if maybe implantation bleeding but would something like that go for 4 days? the bleeding started after a 2nd temp drop (confused?? look at my charts) so just incase it was just a lite AF in taking clomo again as i needed to start on CD2 so yeah...

yup - 5 yrs for unexplained infertility.  sucks huh?  By then I will have stopped trying. 

I wonder if anyone remembers me - its been a while.  I have completed my final clomid cycle - unsuccessful as normal.    So thats it for us - no more help from the specialists, we are on our own.

So I have decided its time to let it go - I am still charting, and am not stopping ttc, but it's not gonna be as big a focus now.  I need to let the emotional stuff go or it will destroy me.  So I'm determined to jsut enjoy the nicer weather coming, and stop focussing on TTC. 

I'll still lurk around from time to time to see what everyone is up to though!

Taarsha - I know exactly how you feel im a POAS expert too (well im good at something after two years LOL) and the BFN's sure do get you down.

Im just plodding along had an argument with DH today as he turned me down this morning this is crazy its getting too much thats for sure am def thinking of stopping after this cycle just for the sake of my marriage & sanity!! Mind you the husband is getting a new bike this week (the motor sort) its a hyosung GT650R in red (if interested go to the Mt Eden Motorcycle website & look thats where hes getting it from.) Im not totally happy about it as I know what boys are like (esp brothers) when they get on these machines but he promises to be careful & he needs some time out anyway AND im not totally missing out myself as we will be buying me one of my dream cameras (I had to have SOMETHING!!) so yeah cant whinge too much LOL

Well, I'm on my last clomid cycle, so fingers crossed this is it for me!  But I'm not feeling too confident - all these months of BFN's does that I guess.

Is it bad for me to admit I have aobut 6 HPT's in my drawer waiting for testing time?   I'm a POAS addict!

< language=>yeah back on the clomid 100mg again *sigh* so had a gutsful of taking the drugs im so emotional, moody & tired. Oh well today is the last day for this cycle but i do have repeats until Nov...... I also go for a scan on 21st to see what is or not happening checking for endo, cycts etc,etc.

As for the difference between vip & ordinary is that VIP gives you access to the fertility circle boards (where i ave made some great friends!!) & you get the details (ie your "nookie" score) & traffic light fertility thingy. Sorry you didnt get a BFP in time for the anniversary.

Ive been a VIP member for a year now.

I too was hoping for a BFP for the anniversary of our angel baby (the day is tomorrow) but Im still waiting to ovulate. Im pretty sure I have just FF is holding out on me cover line!!! Not too sure if we will be getting a good score though as we have been finding it rough these past few days & im always emotional round this time so hence we had an argument which thus resulted in no "nookie' so time will tell I guess....

I started charting this cycle for the first time, plus I'm on clomiphene.  I'm not feeling particularly confident though unfortunately.  I am pretty sure this isn't my month.  I really wanted it to be so that I could be pg before my 1st angel's DD, but theres nothing I can do to change things huh.

Also - Can anyone explain in simple terms the difference between the VIP and basic memberships?  I'm on my free month of VIP, and am not really wanting to pay to keep it of basic shows me what I want to know.

< language=>Yes you can def have a period while pregnant. My foster sister did right up until she was 6 months pregnant (hence she was unaware of being pregnant for a while).

I can understand that.  I am hoping desperately (even more than normal) to get pregnant this cycle.  Mainly because I want to be pregnant before the due date of my first miscarriage on 1 September.

So I completely understand the thought process you are going through.

Yeah, AF showed here today.  I was expecting her, so it wasn't such a big deal.  Other than the cramps of course. 

I finally bit the bullet and bought a BBT to try temping (only took me 20 cycles...haha).  I will see if between the clomiphene and the temping I can get somewhere this month!

Ok, attempting this post for a third time...the darn site keeps kicking me out when I hit post!!

Well, Af isn't here yet, but spot is.  So Af will probably arrive tomorrow.  woo hoo.  not!  lol

At least I get to start the clomiphene again, so hopefully it will do the trick this time.
