You can get it from the pharmacist yourself, as you'd do if you go it for instance (I had it last year). But if you have a preschooler, take them to the doctor and get a prescription! LOl...Janine..Zaara use to do that too...wipe nose rub eyes....our day care does that too....but by the time they see it kids have already shook hands, cuddles and share their germs (well my theory).

wow, our daycare would send the kids home if they turned up with it, seriously, any hint of green gunk from any orrifice and they're outta there.

In saying that, Ayja tends to get it, not from anyone in particular but when she has a bad cold she has always gotten it, her tear ducts and drainage ducts always get all blocked up with gunk from her cold and she has always had an awful habit of wiping her nose up her sleeve then in the next instant using her sleeve to wipe her eyes.   Still, any watering and she's kept home with me until the eye drops are all finished.

Oh Poor baby....Zaara had conjunctivitis last year on a regular basis as just like your day care some parents sent their kids with it....On the other hand DH and I had to take turns and stay home till it cleared.
It makes me mad too....

Some stupid parents sent their kids to daycare despite them having conjunctivitis - so now Taine has it. SOOooooooo unimpressed.

slightly amused this morning though when Taine literally couldn't open his eyes and was trying so hard to see. Shouldn't really laugh, but it was pretty funny...poor Taine.
