I also really like Designer Bums hemp fitted nappies for overnight - they're quite bulky but are super-absorbent for when you need long-distance wear (12hrs+) and bulk doesn't really matter. Other nappies I've tried & liked are Fuzzi Bunz (USA-made) and Itti Bitti D'lish (Australian-made).

Vic xx

Some nappies (bitti d'lish are a great example, or trimly stuffed pockets for a light wetter, or nb prefold with PUL cover) could be almost as trim as sposies, so they would fit under nb onesies... but then some newborns never fit nb size, and pretty much go straight into 0-3, whatever nappy they're wearing, so you never really know anyway.

They are cheaper and involve less washing than pocket nappies because you don't have to wash the cover at each nappy change (unless it's got poo on it). I am due to have my first child at the end of December/beginning of January, and I am already starting to buy baby stuff....

I brought a couple of the bamboo PeaPods yesterday, as the Baby Factory has a good deal with them at the moment. However, I have read some not so favourable reviews about them. Nor did I realise yesterday that PeaPods are an Australian company, and they are manufactured in China.

I would much prefer to support a NZ company that makes its product in NZ.

I am mainly wanting to go for pocket MCNs, not AIOs.

Any opinions/recommendations would be fantastic.

Thanks in advance
