My DH also says less is better with reference to the liquid. He suggests a can of tomato's as well.....

He does all the cooking... just wondering, do i need to have enough liquid in the pot to cover everything.

i have put some beef in there with some carrots and beans, mushrooms, onions and a pack of rich brown gravy mixed with water ... only it just covers the veges and not the meat...

if i put more water in would that not make it too watery?
