you can just throw it in with your nappies to wash - really depends though as it is PUL you can turn it inside out and give it a rinse.

So presumably you have to wash the bag after each time you've used it?   

I use a little plastic bag that I buy my fruit & veges in & tie a knot in it (they'd be going straight in the rubbish anyway). I've never really noticed any smell but it's not often I'm out for the whole day.

I have a couple of wetbags on my site and they are $10 with a really strong drawstring close. I never notice any smells coming out of them as they have a little microfibre piece right near the top where you can pop some nice smelling essential oils if you want.. my nappy bag always smells of lemon verbena, its yuuuum!

Wetbags are a waterproof bag with either a zip or drawstring closure. I used to make bags with drawstrings but customer & research feedback indicated people preferred zips as they think they contain smells more effectively. They are used to store dirty nappies when out and about - they contain smells and wetness and are reusable which is why people like to use them. They range in price...the jamtots ones we sell are $20 and have snaps at the top so you can attach it to a buggy handle - that way you can just take that with you for a short trip. HTH

A) they're not watertight, and don't keep the smell in as well, and

B) they're not easily reusable. I made some 1 nappy ones with some leftover PUL when we made a stash of naps last yr. Take a spare nap and spare inserts when I go out ( most of my naps are covers so I can just change the inserts)

I use one of mine when I go out to my mums or Daniel goes to the inlaws for the day. It fits every thing in it like clothes and bibs that get covered in food or whatever. I have a large one made by Stacey for daycare, but I have used it a number of time when out for the day. I also have 3 small (1 nappy size ones) that if I am out I put the soilded nappies in and then put it into the big bag. What I like about Stacey's one is that she has added a small microfibre bit with a snap that you can put some oil on it to make it smell nice!!!

I used to use the small clear wetpacks that come with most nappy bags but now use a jamtots wetbag which I find to be a good size and quite handy that it stands up when it has nappies in it.
