ella wont drink the toddlers milk....did for a few days then went off it.

We are finally (as of this weekend!!!) down to a monring and night formula bottle and two sippy cups of milk, cold with a little flavour added....has taken until now for her to let me drop those two daytime bottles....

Jakes on Toddler formula but will drink cows milk too - I've given it to him every now and then just to make sure he does drink it (or when I'm in a rush), as it is included in daycare costs but formula isn't, so in a few months he will have cows milk at daycare and formula at home (probably). I've given it to him in a bottle slightly warmed, as he would have formula. We are on toddler milk - stage 3 formula. Caleb only has one bottle a day (the rest are BF's) and I mixed 3/4 formula and 1/4 cows milk for a few days then slowly changed the strength.

I heat cows milk in the microwave then shake it really well to ensure it is evenly heated.

Briahna doesnt like her formula in a sippy cup either, yet she will skull water/juice/anything else in it!

Caprece has it in a sippy cup, she can drink out of a normal cup but will spill it everywhere so we use sippy. She only has cows milk once a day in a milo so its heated. Dumb question coming...but how do you give the cows milk? Same as formula - heated in a bottle? Or do you give it cold straight from the fridge? We've tried Bella on various sippy cups but she refuses to drink her formula out of one and will only take a bottle. And what age can they drink out of a cup?? I changed Kahtrell over from formula/breastfeeding to regular cows milk at around one. I just gradually integrated cows milk in while at the same time taking away the bottle. It was an easy transition in my case, but can't imagine it would be too bigger fuss. I left Cailin on formula right though until I dropped her milk feed at 3 years old. When I costed it out 2 years ago it was cheaper to feed her formular than full cream milk....go figure. I have posted this in the first baby section but it is probably a toddler question so her I go again

 

 

Did you change your baby over to cow's milk at 1 year or leave them on formula for a while.    For those that did change it over was it simply formula one day, cows milk the next or do you ease them on to it?
