One day when I have money I will get one for me. I have an anaphylaxis to sulpha drugs and me and morphine don't get on at all so when evern I have been in hospital they have been told no morphine.

Ooo I just ordered one for Alize. I think they are very cute and I will be stealing your wording for the engravers Andie and replacing the dairy with Egg. I have also ordered the asthma wristband.

Thanks. Ella's had hers for a few weeks now and wears it when we're going to something public like her kid's activities, church, etc. She calls it her "pretty" (which is what she calls all jewelery), and so far it's eased my anxiety some and provided some protection for her. It just reads:
    "ALERT
ANAPHYLAXIS
Allergic to DAIRY"

Yes, the engravers swapped the first 2 words around to make them fit next to the medic alert symbol! Andie - I had a medic alert bracelet when I was a kid for my dairy allergy. My dairy allergy was pretty bad when I was kid, so I needed it.

I love them as bright colour did helped to attract adults' attention to read it as well as my 5 years old love to show off to people that make more people aware of his allergy

this where i got my products from to put on my children's food bag, my baby's cup (to remind NOT to put cow's milk in it!!!) and on the top of their medication bags (also help me to work quicker which bag belong which child during reactions!)

I thought that about the medic alert bracelets too, T. I didn't get her one of the standard ones because a) it's too big and chunky for her tiny wrist, an b) you have to flip them over to read them - and if I saw a child wearing one I'd think the child maybe had a heart condition or something, I don't think they'd be associated with allergies. No personal experience Andie, but for what it's worth I totally support you getting the bracelet for her. She'll probably like it anyway (like Hannah always hated wearing a hat for any reason until Ella's age when it became a fashion accessory!!). I think you'll still find people not connecting the bracelet with a food allergy though, not sure why but I always thought that medic bracelets were an alert to emergency staff and might mention a drug they were allergic to

Do you have a printer? I wonder if it would be cheaper for you to make and print your own stickers? Is it just dairy she is allergic too?? (I can't remember sorry). Coz if it is more than that I would be inclinded to get them all.

I've ordered one of these for Ella after being advised (no, told) to at the hospital. I hadn't wanted to get her one, or any of the allergy 'products', but I think that was more part of my acceptance of her condition rather than anything else - I didn't want my daughter to be that kind of "special", but hey, it is what it is and so "special" she may be.    Since a scare in a public place where by a complete miracle she didn't ingest any of the yogurt she was trying so hard to eat, and since most Sundays in church she'll be offered random food by some well-meaning person, and since Ella can climb onto any surface and will taste anything she can, I've realised I need to do something about this. I never expected strangers to be aware of her allergy and how dangerous it is, but we're at a point now where thanks to Ella's curiosity (and the fact that some people are compelled to feed stranger's toddlers like they're ducks at a pond) she needs something to alert people to this.

I've ordered an "allergic to dairy" badge and stickers (for her lunchbox, etc) too. Has anyone else used any of these products, and did you find them helpful? Did they actually make your child safer? Do you think seeing them stopped kind old ladies from chucking peanut brownies their way?
