Hi there Matenga.... I take 150gms a day of Clomid which is 3 pills a day for days 2-6 of my cycle... that is the max although I have read of some people in the US taking up to 5 pills a day but it's not recommended.

hi there, Ihave had to unsuccessful cycles on clomid and IUI. We know have to try ICSI. Can you take more than one tablet a day? My specialist said that i hadnt responded that well, still only producing one follicle. Ihave a script for another 6 months of clomid, and will take until with do ICSI, wihtout the IUI this time. I did four cycles of clomid before conceiving my gorgeous wee man...
Worst side effect for me was hot flushes... I would go from normal, to like I'd stepped into a sauna. Hehe, it was quite funny looking back now :)

Sunny im also soon going to start clomid i was gonna say what catie suggested about reading through old pages of clomid pill poppers topic, thats what i did i read every single post took me hours lol it was like reading a good diary story lol i must say though it has come to be a bit quiet in there lately as lots of girlys have got big fat positive pregnancys, maybe me and you will be the next two to get those results lol

Hi Sunny

I've had five clomid cycles (3 with IUI) and am gonna have a couple more. I started on 50 mg and went up to 100mg for the last two without any side effects. Well maybe a little more interested in DH IYKWIM , and last time a little tender at ovulation, but nothing major.
Do you know that there's a clomid pill poppers thread? It's been very quiet in there lately, but if you go back to the earlier pages you'll find lots of info.

Thanks for your best wishes ladies.  I am commencing treatment on 50mg tablets, my DH and I have been trying for children since April 2006.  What are some of the side effects you ladies have experienced?

All the best. I did 3 cycles of clomid for unexplained infertility. I found it fine and had no side effects at all. The 2WW is probably the hardest part.

We have had no problems conceiving number 2 so that ever the problem was is now gone. I have a gorgeous 4yr old girl after trying for 2yrs and the third month of clomiphene worked to have her. I was lucky hardly any side effects from the clomiphene.
