yeah i know and apparently you can only get HFM once....well most of us at DC (including staff) have had it three times now!!!! how unfair!

Well it's either one or the other, It intrigues me that you can get it on a lesser scale, you either get it or you don't surely?

I guess that's the risk when you have your children at DC. yeah Becks sorry....she hadnt had anything for ages then on sunday on drive back Grannie noticed a spot appear then a couple more and thats been it.....seriously it came up outta nowhere in space of 30 mins in front of grannies eyes!!!

SQ - oh poor X man....eek wonder where he got that from - at least she cant blame Ella - we havent seen them for ages!

My friend who left our DC cause of all the illnesses tells me that her DC (up road!) now has huge outbreak of either HFM or staph rash too!

Did she have it when she was here??? It is possible that she it but it is at a lesser scale, but then it could be a staph thing that is going to hang around .

ok so we have hand foot and mouth yet again!!! altho this time and the second time Ella didnt get anything in her mouth at all. This time it has lingered for about 2 weeks and new spots pop up and disappear in space of 24 hours - sometimes less!!!!

Docs at our med centre are torn - one says it is HFM and other says it is a "staph" or "strep" rash...and they have seen so many kids from day care kohanga and a few that havent been in care all with same or similar...

anyone know what else it might be that is going round....no other real symptoms...grissly a little at night but otherwise ok...no fever nothing else!!!
poss maybe that it is HFM at a lesser scale? I thought they could only get it once tho...first time was in May-ish
