He's seeing lil miss atm for her reflux.

They also see Jan Sinclair (they're special, they have two paeds ) and she is also great, I find the kids respond to her really well coz she deals with kids all the time so has a great manner with them. The advantage with her is that she does the skin pricks during your appt so you don't have to have them done separately and she can discuss stuff with you while you wait the 10 min reaction time.

I feel much better having read them.

I would imagine they will do her on the back as she is pretty little even for 16 months. She is also pretty nosey so hopefully it won't be too much of a struggle.

I haven't been told anything by either the doctor or the clinic when I booked the appointment.
I have to be honest and say that I am actually pretty disappointed as there has been no support so far from anyone we have spoken too.
I am thinking once we have the results I will take Sam to a specialist as I am sick of our doctor taking the whole thing so lightly! He even rolled his eyes at me when he was giving me the forms!
He wasn't the one that had a screaming child clutching her tummy in agony after trying something with dairy!!!!!!
It seems silly as we have health insurance so could be doing this a better way.

Emma, what was the name of the specialist your girls see?

Little babies arms are too small.

All three of mine have had them multiple times and none of them have ever been bothered. Mercedes was fascinated with the process. I was worried he would get upset, but no, he found the pen marks ticklish, the dabbing on of the liquid ticklish and the prick he didn't even notice. It really shouldn't be called prick as it was more of a gentle scrape (hard to describe but you will see). Worse bit was trying to get him to not turn round as he was trying to look at what the doc was doing.
Took about 10 mins for the reactions to come up and he wasn't bothered by them at all, was having too much fun destroying the guys office by then. His reactions were fairly small and by the time we got home abotut 45 mins later you could barely see where they had been done. There was no change in his mood or anything, you honestly wouldn't have known that anything had been done to him.

As he was 2 they had to take it out like an "adult" so we did the skin prick first and he was fine.....then the bloods.
He didn't like us holding him more than anything, so was fine once they finished.

Did they explain to you what the test involves?
