No she would have been about E's age (or slightly younger) when I started her on cruskits (and she had crispbreads when over at my mum and dads as that's what they have in the pantry). 

She was gluten free until after 12mo so couldn't have rusks instead I gave her corn cruskits.  She loved them, and still does.  I did go to an organics store and buy gluten free rusks once (about $10 for a small box) but she wasn't keen on them at all and didn't even finish the box.

Corn cruskits are definitely dairy, gluten and wheat free.  I'm pretty sure they're nut free too and I can't imagine them having any fish in them but you'd have to check the box to see if there's any soy or trace products.

Ugh the cruskits and crispbreads used to turn to glue with all her saliva as she sucked/gummed them and then bits would get stuck in her hair  - guess you've figured that out already  They were great though. 

Yep, Michaela's had them before, I can't remember what age exactly but ate gluten free prior to 12 months so it would have been sometime before she was a year old.

I actually normally buy corn cruskits instead - pretty much the some except all maize without the riceflour and they're cheaper an IMHO taste nicer (and since I need to eat gluten free taste is a huge factor for me).

ETA: the orgran range is huge and they have heaps of yummy things (check out http://www.orgran.com/).  You could use their macaroni elbows in homemade baby food (just cook them a bit longer than normal) and once he's older try him on the orgran spaghetti in tomato sauce.  I'm keen to try the molasses licorice, I used to love licorice and haven't eaten it in over 4 years now.
