A loves these, and they are good when we're out because they don't stick to her clothes, hair, face, buggy, other people's carpet.....]]>

Glad he is enjoying the cruskits, Spencer was keen on the rice ones but he likes the corn ones. I found that it was good to spread pureed pumpkin or similar on them as well just to make them a bit more interesting.]]>

I'm sure he will be fine:) yeah he didnt get through enough of one to get it stuck in his hair but it was  starting to make a mess..:) I'm sure that's part of the fun...<br /><br />Tiff bought some of the rusks and told me where to get them I thought i might try them..maybe not if they are awful?:)  ]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=19393">MrsMojo</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 20853<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 12 September 2008 at 2:25pm<br /><br /><P>No she would have been about E's age (or slightly younger) when I started her on cruskits (and she had crispbreads when over at my mum and dads as that's what they have in the pantry).&nbsp; </P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>She was gluten free until after 12mo so couldn't have rusks&nbsp;instead I gave her corn cruskits.&nbsp; She loved them, and still does.&nbsp; I did go to an organics store and buy gluten free rusks once (about $10 for a small box<IMG src="http://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif" border="0">) but she wasn't keen on them at all and didn't even finish the box.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>Corn cruskits are definitely dairy, gluten and wheat free.&nbsp; I'm pretty sure they're nut free too and I can't imagine them having any fish in them but you'd have to check the box to see if there's any soy or trace products.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>Ugh the cruskits and crispbreads used to turn to glue with all her saliva as she sucked/gummed them&nbsp;and then bits would get stuck in her hair <IMG src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley11.gif" border="0">&nbsp;- guess you've figured that out already<IMG src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0">&nbsp; They were great though.&nbsp; </P><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by MrsMojo</span>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=19393">MrsMojo</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 20853<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 12 September 2008 at 11:38am<br /><br /><P>Yep, Michaela's had them before, I can't remember what age exactly but&nbsp;ate gluten free prior to 12 months so it would have been sometime before she was a year old.</P><P>I actually normally buy corn cruskits instead - pretty much the some except all maize without the riceflour and they're cheaper an IMHO taste nicer (and since I need to eat gluten free taste is a huge factor for me).</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>ETA: the orgran range is huge and they have heaps of yummy things (check out <A href="http://www.orgran.com/" target="_blank"><FONT color=#0000ff>http://www.orgran.com/</FONT></A>).&nbsp; You could use their macaroni elbows in homemade baby food (just cook them a bit longer than normal) and once he's older try him on the orgran spaghetti in tomato sauce.&nbsp; I'm keen to try the molasses licorice, I used to love licorice and haven't eaten it in over 4 years now.</P><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by MrsMojo</span>]]>
