Busymum - we put him back in nappies- he took them off whe n he needed to wee - and then didn't. might try your suggestion though MrsM. We had that but that is due to SIL screaming at my kid when she got her pants of and then running for the toilet.

She would hold it in for hours and hours and then finally have an accident and be more freaked and shy and ashamed about it.

I hear you say you put him in the bath and he is able to go then. Same with McKayla. Perhaps fill the bath up put the potty in the bath and let him sit and see if he goes.

If that works then next time fill a bit of luke warm water in the bath so just his feet needs to go in. So literally about half a litre of water and put the potty in the bath and let him go. So more toilet timing than toilet training for now.

Then after about 2 or 3 days or when you think he is ready move this to the toilet with a dish like an ice cream container with warm water and let him stick his feet in. After 3 weeks McKayla told me she didnt need the water anymore but it was just enough to let her relax the muscles and then go.

Might be worth a try. hmmm   i have no advice but it doesn't sound like normal toddler behaviour to me

Has anyone had this.

Taine is getting really bad weeing. as in, he won't wee in his nappy, in pants, on the toilet, on the potty. He basically runs around saying Mummy wee. Put him on the toilet, he smiles and says "peeeee" and does nothing. Anyway, he gets himself into a real state, really upset - even does it at Mums and Nanas. Then he pees himself and is fine. doesn't cry when peeing so don't think it is a bladder infection.

now he has an ear infection and is only peeing once a day - if that. And that is when i force him to sit in the bath to make him pee. Jake now refuses to bathe with him.
