My lachie calls out "finished mum" then i watch him take some paper and fold it in half, then fold it again then he wipes. My Peter thinks he can wipe his own bottom so if I don't keep an eye on him he has filled up the toilet with paper (which has blocked it once!) I suppose it is good that he wants to be so independent but he sometimes gets it on his hands or uses too much paper! Yeah I get the call of "mummy wipe my bottom please" and it gets shouted at the top of his voice as well.

I like that idea Deb of you doing it first and then him doing it, I will try that thanks.

I tell my girls to "wipe the poos and then wipe the wees" (with separate pieces of paper). But I think that is more critical for girls than boys.

I'm not sure, Becks. oh and what i do with toby is i will wipe him first then give him a bit and say your turn so he knows what is expected...

Andrew is at the stage when I think he can wipe his own butt when he goes to the toilet and does poos. How do I get him to do this and do it properly??
