geez like i dont already have enough pressure from my mum to "go man hunting" (and she wont even let me take a gun!) now my 4 year old daughter is in on the act!
yesterday we were having cuddles in bed when she turns to me and says , when u get married i'll have a daddy a?"
to which i said, no u'll have a step daddy-u already have a daddy that loves u"
so she said "and i'll call him other daddy" and i said "no u will call him his name, like Bob or scott, like u do with ur step mum angela"
Shes been telling everyone im getting married to Bobscott

but the reason she wants me to marry is cos she wants a sister" not a brother thanks, i have a brother already"
and she just asked me when it was coming out of my tummy, i told her there was none in their (unless it was the immaculate conception again-its uh, been awhile sorry TMI) and she said if i eat cheese-tomorrow, my baby girl will be born.

It was hailing over here the other day, only very tiny hail tho & Kye says "Look, its raining popcorn!" I thought that was v cute & funny

My daughter likes to point to any man in the supermarket and call him daddy at the top of her lungs, which really embarrasses me! been awhile but had to share this.

everyday on the way to work caitlyn says "angelas married. Your not. You need to get married"
so i asked her who i was going to marry.

"i dunno, someone, anyone " (thanks mate, its come to that has it?)

so i told her, SHE could chose my husband

when i got home from work that day, she'd told me shed picked a husband for me and picked up a dvd...."finding neverland"

yep...my daughter has given me permission to marry Johnny Depp....*sigh* if i must caitlyn, if i must..

When I was about 8 or 9, and my middle brother was about 3 or 4, Mum took me and the 2 boys to church on christmas day. Caitlyns rude about peoples weight,she went up to my friend and said bluntly " u have a fat tummy"
so embarrassed esp since my friends really self concious about her weight.
She went up to a woman at the bank (i was there robbing it lol) and said "u have a big tummy but ur not having a baby cos ur too old to have babies.....mummy what does it mean when a ladies old and fat?" of course she said that part really loudly.

I was talking to a guy at the dairy once (not muffin man) a friend of a friend and Caitlyn said " my mummy did a really really big fart last nite like this ......and it was really really smelly.....are u and my mummy gonna kiss and get married?

haha - Cam said one of our Male friends had a baby in his tummy too - you should've seen the look on the guys face (he's not even near fat, but just a teeeny bit overweight, and by that look - knows it :(

Also, when I was changing Cam at my parents house one day, Charlotte grabbed his willy - cause she could. Cam was unimpressed and Mum and Dad were like "what the?!!"

This morning DH taught Cam to say "naughty mummy" and he wouldn't say "naughty daddy"

LOL Rosie - Maya calls my bra "boobies" too, and is obsessed with a photo of a breast in one of my pregnancy books.

We were out for lunch today and this lady at the table next to us had a baby about 11-12mths old. She walked past us to get to the buffet and she had quite a flabby tummy. MIss Maya announces very loudly (and points) "Look Mum that lady's got a baby in her tummy just like you".

I tried to crawl under the table, I was sooooo embarassed! She so OBVIOUSLY wasn't pregnant, just had a baby belly. And the lady who is Jacks mum (sorry im terrible with remembering names) typical male!!!

I have a classic from my 2 yr old nephew. His dad has a male dog whose "peanut" hangs out from time to time. Well one time he fully grabbed it while his fathers back was turned & says " look daddy chopper ( the dog) has a "peanut" like me" daddy was trying hard not to laugh as he was trying to release his sons tight grip on the dogs "peanut" "

My 3 nearly 4 yr old niece is a little madame too she embarresses my SIL to no end !!! and called her flowergirl dress from my wedding her "wedding dress" lol she also speaks in this posh english type accent!! Its so funny & her mother has no idea as to where shes got it from.

I had been "discussing" ok b*tching about this girl im aquainted with and her "undignified" behavior recently with another friend,caitlyn was in the room but i didnt think anything of it....until a week later when we were at dennys and we were all saying hi and caitlyn says to her "wheres santa?" and she says "sorry sweets...what do u mean?" and caitlyn says (impatiently) "u work with santa...hohoho santa claus?" "u must work with santa cos mummy said...mummy said u always be a ho and ho ho around everywhere.....and santa says ho......"

oops didnt realise caitlyn had been listening to my sisters cd.
Realised she had in the middle of the checkout area at the warehouse.
She was very quiet and well behaved then looking this little old couple right in the eye she says to the man

Tears streaming down my face - Caitlyn is a classic!! How old is she? Very clever.

One of my little man's (now 9 years old) funny stories was when he was about 2 and we were at home and I had just eaten LOTS of chocolate and was feeling really fat so I decided to run up and down the stairs (I know - really weird) and I got hot so I took off my top and just had my sports bra on. Christopher was watching me with a look of absolute adoration on his face and said
"mum, when I have big nipples like you, will I wear a bra too?" - it was soooooo hard not to laugh!! I told him that if he ever had nipples (thats what he called boobs)as as big as mine, I would buy him a bra and force him to wear it. He was so happy!! so, i took her highness to the pools yesterday and when it was time to get out she runs back into the pool (with her towel) and trys to hide, so im (calmly as possible ) trying to catch her.So then i hear this yell "help help that girls trying to catch me and bite me...dont let mummy get me " *fake little sniff* and EVERYONE was listening and im going *nervous laugh* Caitlyn dont be ridiculous" and she says "ur mean mummy...and and YOUVE got big BOOBIES!" to this poor woman watching caitlyns little display. thats so true! i remember this doco a few years ago about how u try to instill honesty in children but at a certain age (3-5) they take it very seriously and dont have the concept of lying to protect someones feelings...there was a woman who got a vase and her daughter was saying "but mummy u have one just like that already and u hate it" (mum) "haha, no i dont emily ..." "yes u do mum..u said its the ugliest thing u ever saw...." and so on -God it was funny!

oh yeah, and one of mikes mates got paris a lollypop a few weeks back. she had been eating it nicely, sitting still.. for quite a while. then she just came up to me in the kitchen, and handed it to me

"can you take it mum"
(me) "Why,.... are you finished"
"Can you just take it," she says, pushing it towards me "it.. it's freaking me out"

hahaha feijoa!!!!!! lol never heard it called THAT before!!!

yes caitlyn is quite the story teller *sigh*
This morning she told me that cassie (our cat) had been to a party with red and pink and blue and pink and yellow and pink ...oh and did i mention pink? balloons and a cake...and came home and made a mess of the lounge.
SOOOO naturally i went to have a look at the lounge and sure enough shed decided it would be really "fun" to do some "baking" in the lounge (why not the kitchen i ask u?) and had spilt milk and flour everywhere.
And the little miss says wistfully " i did tell cassie to be more careful mum...but he just didnt listen"

ha i remember my cousin when she was 3 (shes now 10) telling me all about penises and vulvas (i was like isnt that a car?no that would be a volvO) and how the egg gets fertilised etc and how the mummy and daddy go ah ah ah and the mummy gets a baby in her tummy.

her friend bumped her eye (accidently) at kindy the other day -this is caitlyns version of events

Lol... here's what we've told Kiya (this is the full version, that's developed over the last couple of years):

All mummys have seeds inside, called "eggs". God and Jesus plant the seed in the womb when They know its time for the mummy and daddy to have a baby. Mummy and Daddy have "special cuddles" in bed, and Daddy waters the seed, and it grows into a baby. All the physical stuff (like what the baby looks like in the womb, where in the body all that happens etc) about the development of the baby, and the birth, she knows from pictures in one of my baby books. We look at the pictures together, then get a ruler and measure on her hand how big the baby is now.
