Clare- hey! I know what its like to be new in a place, when I first came to Chch about 3&a bit years ago now, I was on my own and knew no one, it was a bit scary. I'm married now and have a wee boy and have made quite afew friends, but most of them don't have kids which can be a bit difficult at times.. so I'm always wanting to meet other mums.
Im in Halswell, I dont know much about the Richmond area. Gosh you have alot of changes ahead of you! exciting times thats for sure.

Hi Everyone,
I'm new to this forum, I'm living in Auckland now but My HB, and I will be moving down to Richmond a little over a month before I'm due (work transfer) . Help I don't know the area or anyone down there!! I've visited once it's a great area I just wish I was moving down sooner so I could get the lay of the land and settle a bit before the lil one arrives oh well thats life right!

Haha, I was able to whip up something, but was lucky as everyone came along with some yummy choco biscuts! So we were spoilt for choice!

I have wondered if theres a multi group in CHCH I know Auckland has loads of groups and things for families with multiples but there seems to be less here in CHCH.

I imagine thats gotta be one hected group lol! I have to admit I was told about the multiple birth club but was slack in joining due to the fee involved although its only $25 so thats a sad excuse

Would be interested in finding out more though. I'm really really sorry guys I'm gonna have to cancel. Spencer has developed a really bad rash over all his body and I have no idea what it is but as we aren't vaccinated it is quite possible that it could be rubella or measles so probably best you don't come round.
It's only just come up so couldn't get in to see doc until tomorrow. It may just be some other kind of viral rash but it looks pretty angry compared to anything else he has had. Of course he may have just ate some cheese why we weren't looking and had a bad allergic reaction but I would feel pretty bad if we did expose you guys to something.
Perhaps if the doc gives the all clear we could do it on Thursday instead? No you don't need to pick the poos up. And yep he uses the catcher....lol.
I let Spencer play on the front lawn more where the dogs don't go, but as the front isn't fenced its not really safe for the bigger kids that can move a lot faster.

Yea it's been fantastic! I've lost 7kg in 5 weeks :) The food is much better than I originally thought it would be. We would normally spend around $200 a week on groceries anyway and my JC food is about $100 or just over a week so it pretty much works out for us money wise. The main cost for me was the membership fee. I try to get out and do my 2 hour walk at least 4 times a week so that helps as well. Its great though I'm just starting to fit into my pre baby wardrobe so I'm starting to feel like my old self. Just sux how much the girls stretched my tummy I forever gonna have this massive pouch of stretched skin lol! Do I need to bring anything guys? Mayby some awful and disgusting type of triple choc cake or cookies? I I'm on Jenny Craig so would love to bring something naughty and live vicarisly (can't spell) through you guys lol!

Haha Please don't go into labour on Tuesday!!! I had a c-section so I wouldn't have a clue what to do! I could fetch towels and boiling water but unless we're on the set of Dr Quinn Medicine woman I don't think that will help :)

Vanessa if Lisha comes they wouldn't be that much older. I don't mind, my lounge isn't huge but we should all fit. I love watching older tots with babies they're always fascinating to watch.
