Sorry we still probably won't be able to make it. We are going to a friend's for lunch after church & putting V down there for a sleep. If we leave early enough we may head in but most likely not. Hope it's great. I haven't been in years & even when i was there, i was there to work. it was neat from memory. Right, so seems Armour Bay is a bit far for a few people to go with kids in tow, so I've put my bossy pants on and I'm saying the Armour Bay meetup is cancelled.

HOWEVER the annual Teddy Bear's Picnic is on in the Domain on Sunday, and we thought it might be nice to do a group effort.

There's information about the picnic on the Auckland City website here. The picnic runs from 11am to 4pm on Sunday, and there will be stages with performances, bouncy castles, face painting, etc. I suggest we meet at the 'usual' time of 1pm? Does that suit?

I figure the usual meeting places will be pretty busy, so let's meet at the grassed area near the duck ponds, by the kiosk, opposite the wintergardens. Might be a good idea to have someone's mobile number in case the group moves - highly likely cos I don't know how the picnic is usually set out!
