I've measured mine:

Short about 10 cm in total (inc where snaps are)

Long: about 20 cm in total inc where snaps are.

I only use the short generally, as I only use cloth during the day. I saw on here once someone talking about extender thingees for the dome up bodysuits.
My wee boy is really long and I would love his newborn bodysuits to last him a wee bit longer over his cloth bum.
