They did get a bit stained but once it came into summer and the sun came out all the stains disapeared. <br />At night time we just sat them in the dry pail till morning then in the morning I had the lovely job of rinsing them all off. What an exciting way to start the day.]]>

I'll keep a lidded nappy bucket in the laundry and one in the nursery (with the change table) just to make it easier on myself. Outside is definitely better.<br /><br />With my MCN's I rinse without spin & then wash with Ecopowder & hang outside & the stains go.<br /><br />Sunlight works a treat.]]>

I then squeeze them out and chuck them in a bucket (I usually wash every second day)<br />What the washing machine doesnt get out the sunlight sure does.<br />Ive been using my prefolds for 7 weeks and they still look as clean as the day I got them.]]>

But you could try soaking the prefolds (not the covers) in something like nappy san. I use the ecostore soaker. I know some people say not to soak nappies, but I always found it fine with my prefolds. I bleached mine a couple of times when they got quite stained and they were fine. Otherwise I did the same as you, just popped them in a bucket till wash time. ]]>

At the moment we just pop the insert into the bucket and then wash them over night. This seems to be leaving the prefolds stained though. Have tried rinsing out the poo in the toilet but not alot seems to come off!!! Any ideas about the storage and washing of the soiled napies would be geatly appreciated. </P><P>Thanks</P>]]>
