I think you really need to use tasty cheese though, to get a nice strong cheesy taste.]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=17831">ShellandBella</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 26653<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 21 May 2009 at 2:22pm<br /><br />Cheese Scones (with a twist)<br /><br />2 cups tasty cheese<br />4 1/2 cups flour<br />4 tsp cream of tartar<br />2 tsp baking soda<br />pinch cayenne pepper<br />1/4-1/2 tsp dry mustard<br />1 can lemonade<br />300mls cream<br /><br />Sieve dry ingredients together, add cheese, then lemonade, then cream and mix as little as possible until all ingredients come together<br /><br />Roll out and divide up to size wanted. Sprinkle each scone with some more cheese.<br /><br />Bake in 220 degree C oven for 20 minutes or until golden.<br /><br />Makes heaps and these scones are light and airy <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0"> ]]>
