Lol I have totally no reason to cull you guys just people who act like friends but actually couldn't care less or even worse those people who are only friends coz they're nosy and don't even bother to act like friends

The Ondansetron has helped stop everything coming back up but still lots of retching and gagging and a.w.f.u.l nausea YAY for almost being at the end of the first trimester!!!!! Alicia you never want to go through this again lol and Danelle I'm assuming you won't be doing this again either?? Well you'll have your pigeon pair! I think we would have stopped if Ty had been a girl. We might go back for one more coz I hate uneven numbers but we'll have to give it abit of time to forget how hideous this has been first

Babe I hope your MS disappears soon. I can totally empathise, was really sick again for the first 4 months this time, all I could do was lie on the couch & feel sorry for myself & let Torin entertain himself, it was awful!!!!
Never ever ever again do I want to do that.

Just waiting for our carpet to go down next weekend & then I can start sorting out the kids rooms & get some pics up for you, in the meantime heres one of her little bassinet

I had to go and look to see if I had been culled as well babe I hope when you get to the magic 12wk mark that sickness goes away!!! Tyler sounds so cute. We are trying to do obedience training (sorry sounds like we are talking about dogs lol) but dh normally just laughs at Quin.

Lisa that really sucks about your dad hun I hope you get some good news on Wednesday, please let us know. How cute about Isla I hope Kayla does stuff like that it would be a nice change I so can't wait to see your wedding photo's you will be a stunning bride!!

Quins behaviour has changed lately and has been becoming a bit of a terror. And on a more positive note - loving Isla's age at the moment. She is a barrel of laughs and so so clever. I'm in absolute awe of her. She is quite the chatterbox and says so many words now it's not funny. She is very polite and always says please and thank you. Still pooping in the potty and weeing in it sometimes.
She is obsessed with headbands, shoes and handbags lately, such a little girl! She is always putting my handbag over her shoulder and looking at herself in the mirror going 'ooooooh pwiddy' lol
She loves helping out around the house which is great haha, she doesn't like things being messy or dirty so if she sees a piece of fluff on the floor, she'll pick it up and go and put it in the rubbish bin. I've trained her well Before long, she'll be able to do all the housework for me!
Still, I can't wait to have another bub! Only a few more days Kat! Eeeeeee! So excited for you, really looking forward to your pics!
Less than 7wks left for us till the big day. Still got trillions of things to organise tho so full on freaking out. You should see the amount of grey hairs I've gotten lately! OMG! I'm too young to be grey!!!

Unfortunately some bad news today....... Dad had been having seizures again so spoke to the oncologist and they requested another MRI. He got the results back today and the tumour has returned, with a vengeance. It's very aggressive and resistant to chemo and radiation. There is a procedure that is a slight possibility but have to wait to hear back from the oncologist. He's having a meeting with the surgeons on wednesday to see if it is likely to make a difference. If not, there is basically no treatment option. This means at best, he has 8 months left.
So that is a real shock to the system and not what I needed to hear so close to the wedding. But I suppose at least he will get to walk me down the aisle. But still, has kinda of put a damper on everything. I just wish life would stop throwing sh*t my way. Has been a very tough year and a bit. Isla really is the only thing keeping me from going to a very dark place. Quin does the same thing as Tyler he loves playing soccer!! I think he's pretty talented as well but he has watched both boys play for the whole season now, he even yells on the side line now lol!! Tyler is busy chattering away now. He loves talking on the phone and gets very busy 'replying' which is still mostly gobbledygook but adorable. ME AGAIN!!! Haha just sticking my nose in to say hi!

Tyler loves his cars - waaay more than Jake ever did. Unfortunately hes discovered guns and swords thanks to his big bro lol he always holds them backwards but its so cute to see him wandering around 'fighting' and making the obligatory noises

We have the same issue with wipes too :sigh: he'll sit there and use one wipe to stroke his nose once then onto another wipe to stroke his cheek once then onto another wipe... and so on.

Alicia why don't you renew your vows? Specially now you're looking so fine I get what you mean though. I've realised how fast time is going and it makes me abit sad. Its motivation to make the most of every minute though coz it won't be coming around again! FX for Quins op too hun x

Kats - Dh did the top of the cake (cos it's a cupcake cake tin) and his cake sucked big time lol but mine was awesome!! I haven't tried out the icing set yet but I have to make cupcakes this weekend so will try it out then

Mum2one - I'm pleased someone else is planning and it's not just me I'm really excited about there bday cos I won't be fat and I won't be pregnant!!

Quin has been a terror today, he dragged his heater by the cord from his room to the lounge. He keeps emptying drawers and he puts the seat next to the bench and clears it, it's honestly driving me insane!!

I hope everyone is good and the toddlers are all healthy!! I was just saying to dh this morning that I am a bit sad that I won't every have a little baby again or be pregnant and he looked at me like I was insane. I don't want anymore it's just sad that that part of my life is over iykwim!!

We went out this morning and got the cake tin for the kids bday it is so cool so we are giving it a test run today seeing as though it's wet and I can't walk!! And Lisa things are getting pretty close for you too, I remember feeling the same way about the excitement factor, the last few months of planning can be very stressful & do put a downer on the event but you will enjoy it on the day & when you see it all coming together it makes it all worth it.
Yay for TTCing for #2, I hope you all get your BFPs very soon.

Things are going well from this end at the moment, renovatins are almost at an end (well the inside one's anyway) DH is currently painting the rooms & the carpet will be laid in the next few weeks so I will be able to sort out the kids rooms as soon as that is done. After that DH will be on to the outside & building his new garage which he is very excited about.

Torin is doing well, he is turning in to a real little chatter box & trys to copy everything we say now, it is very cute.
He is such a typical little boy & likes to get in & try everything. He's also mad about cars & has now got quite a nice matchbox collection which he plays happily with most of the day, DH is so proud that his son is a petrol head just like his daddy lol.
Apart from that not much else to report, just totally over being pregnant & can't wait for it to end.

Lisa - you might get a surprise, I'm slowly learning that my body actually looses if I eat a little bit more and having "easy" food every now and then isn't that bad. I remember getting to that point and it can get really busy as well but now I wish I could plan another wedding lol

Kats - wahoo! Not long now! Exciting stuff! I have the same issue about lack of willpower lol. My dress is still at the shop and I'm too afraid to go in for a fitting cause I know I've put on weight with the amount of crap I've eaten lately. With RWC and all, we go to my sister and her hubby's place to watch all the good games and we always end up having lazy food like FnCs or Pizza........ and then get out the chip and dip...... and chocolate........ I'm too scared to jump on the scales cause I know I've prob gained a few kilo. Once the RWC is over with, I'm going hardout healthy! lol
And yes, it's almost the 2 month coutdown for us. I just want it to be over and done with. Still so much to do and it's stressing me the hell out. I'm over it. The stress of the planning has totally killed the excitement of the wedding. I'm actually more excited about the day AFTER the wedding, cause then it will be over and done with. Hopefully it all comes together on the day.
Well, DF is comatosed on the bed now after having a few too many celebratory drinks after the excitement that was the Ireland vs Wallabies game. He stinks like a brewery so think I might just park up on the couch for the night with the dog lol

Cute! We do baby soccer, Lisa, and when Lily falls over she has this little freak out that she has mud on her hands yet she's still jumping/stomping in puddles 5 minutes later haha! I have to hide the wipes here because she pulls them out of the packet to wipe things or herself with! Which I think she gets from me!

I tink I'm pretty lucky with Isla. She has never done anything like that. She is a bit of a clean freak so doesn't like making things messy. She fully freaks out if her hands get dirty haha. And she is forever wiping her face. She must get it from her Dad cause I'm not much of a clean freak. A bit of dirt never hurt anyone.
Oh and for those of you who didn't see it on FB..... Isley is finally walking! She did it 2 days before she turned 18 months. Talk about leaving it till the last minute! haha. I had just dropped her at Mums and I arrived at work, checked my emails and there was a msg saying 'so when did your daughter start walking?' so I rung mum straight away and I was 'WTF? Walking?'. Mum just assumed she had been walking for a few days cause she just stood up and walked half way across the room! But that's what she is like. She thinks about how to do things but wont try it till she is 100% confident she can do it right. So she has probably 'known' how to walk for a while lol. So she went pretty much straight from crawling to running. She is so funny tho. Loves walking and just wanders backwards and forwards up the hallway and cracks herself up laughing. Not long to go at our end either, just over 2 months! Eeek! Still have SOOOOOO much to organise! It's like I cross one thing off the list but then add another so the list isn't getting any smaller!

Oh and call us crazy but as off last night (sorry, prob TMI lol) but we are TTC #2! We were going to start trying in Jan but we have a wedding to attend in Ireland June 2013 so figured if it took 6 months to get UTD like it did with Isla, then we'd end up having only a teeny baby to take over. So if we et preg straight away now, we'll be due around mid June so bub would be a year old when we go over which I think is a better age. Yes, it may mean that I could potentially be preg when we get married but only by a wee bit. Just means I can't have a bubbly but that's OK cause I don't drink anyway so I don't mind. I'm quite excited. Have been wanting to leave work for a while now but don't want to just leave so this way, I'll just stick it out till I can go on maternity leave, get the 12wks pay, will still take 1y maternity leave *just incase* but most likely wont go back to work. It's not worth it for me.
Is it too soon for me to be looking at baby names?? lol

Oh glad it was picked up Limo but how scary! We went to the doctors yesterday and Lily DOES have a murmur but the doctor picked it up immediately and said she isn't concerned by it so just wants routine checks. She said it's normal for children to have murmurs. I'd never heard that before though!

She's also going to have tests done in November for possible intolerances/allergies. I've just got home from the hospital after having Quins echo done and he has to have surgery, it's not open heart which is great but still surgery. He has a narrowing in his aorta. The doctor said that we were lucky that our GP picked it up cos it could have been missed and that may not have ended well. C's Dad is considering moving down too, as his favourite cousin is in Burwood Hospital for the next 3 months and he'd like to be there for him.

Hey girls! Hope everyone's little monst- people are behaving!

Kelly - Glad to hear I'm not the only paranoid one! I felt so silly worrying, knowing there was such a small chance, but once I got that idea in my head it was hard to shake!

I just got back from 7 nights in Christchurch, I absolutely loved it. I really regret not taking Caleb with me though, I was staying in the world's most child friendly holiday home. There was a bookshelf packed with toys in the lounge, another in the spare room, more toys in the kids bedroom, there was a portacot if I needed it, we were 2 minutes away from the beach, directly across the road from an awesome playground and about a 3 minute walk away there was a nice looking cafe with an outdoor playpen for toddlers. So much for my idea that C would be happier staying with his Dad, he would have had a blast if I'd brought him!

In fact, I loved the house so much that I'm more than half tempted to ask if they'd consider renting it out on a slightly more permanent basis... The only downside was the water quality. Not so good.

Did I mention I'm trying to move to Christchurch?

Things are going VERY well with me and my man, who is of course my reason for wanting to move all the way down to Shakeytown.
We've been together for almost 6 months now I think, which doesn't sound like very long until you add that we were talking every day for 2 months before that, occasionally for 2 years before that and back in I think it was 05 we were very close until we lost touch. Long, convoluted story but we met online 6 years ago and only met face to face in February this year. We started dating a month later. No looking back. Wow Lisa, Isla's speech is great. Daniel is doing well but not that well. He will now tell us what he wants on his toast and what snack he wants and says hello to EVERYONE in the supermarket

We have confirmed our wedding, fiji here we come, 6th of October is the day. Got my dress today from a totally random shop but it was half price and fitted perfectly so really happy with that. Didn't want white and white is what I have but it is gorgeous.

DF's last chemo on Monday and then radiation when he has had a bit of recovery time but all is going well.

Thanks too Alicia, I hope I will look good! lol can't stop going and trying my dress on hehe. Picked my shoes and bag up the other day. I'm torn as to what to do, they are white, my dress is off white. The shos and bag are dyeable but apparently it costs quite a lot and I'd have to send them up to Auckland to be done as no one does it in CHCH! I tried them with the dress and because they are satin and shiney, the do pick up the toning of the dress so it's not 'too' noticeable... hmmmm.

Jamie, I hope things work out the way you are wanting them too regarding your wee scare....... I've felt very pregnant on a few occasions over the passed few months, I never was obviously but had been completely convinced I was.
And yes, hopefully happy babies come back soon! Isla still screams when I put her to bed but it only lasts 15mins now instead of 45min! It was really starting to do my head in!

Yay, got an invite to a baby shower today! My friend is due in about 8 weeks!! She's having a wee boy. Looking forward to buying some cute boy things for him!!!! hehe

Isla has become quite the little waffler. She cracks me up. My friend who's wee girl is 2 months older) was gobsmacked the other day. We took the girls to a cafe for lunch and I said to Isla 'would you like your sandwich?' and she replied 'yes please'. Then my friend said to her 'whats in your sandwich, Isla?' and Isla said 'Ham and cheese' lol was so cute! We have lots of pets (2 rabbits, a dog and 5 guinea pigs) and she knows all their names so when we go out to see them she waves and says 'hi Izzy, hi derby, hi piper' etc. I made sure I gave them all names she could say. altho she hasn't quite mastered Harriet yet, that ones abit tricky so she just gets called Harry.
Right, might get a super early night,work at 8.30 in the morning. Sigh. Not alot of recovery going on here it's too hard to rest with little ones Quins got tonsillitis and a double ear infection so he is not a happy camper at all

We seem to go through the sep anxiety every 6 months or when something major happens (moving house was the last time).

Re bath time. The bath at our current place drips the water out. So have to fill it up nearly an hour before I plan to use it! Yeah I heard about the 18 month separation anxiety and apparently they start getting a fear of the dark (I was talking about it was PAFT). Caide was getting a bit funny at bedtime so we have started leaving the hall light on and he settles fine now. Hopefully Isla comes right soon.

Gold Coast - so jealous!! I want to go to an island somewhere!!

We are offically TTC #2! As of Friday, I stopped taking the pill again. If it hasn't happened by the end of sept, we are going to put it on hold till early next year. Wedding planning is getting there. Only 14wks to go now! And only 12weeks until DF's parents arrive from Ireland for the first time! The lady who is organising my decorations, cake and shoes (she has a wedding supplies business that she runs fom home) had a rough week last week.... her 12yo son died He had been ill for a while so it was expected but I just want to go and give her a hug. I got an email from her yesterday and she is doing OK and still her bubbly self. What an amazingly strong lady.

Cute that Oliver got some more teeth Tania! Isla got her top eye teeth the other day so they are number 13 and 14 for her. Her bottom eye teeth aren't far away eiher. Can see them under the gum.

Isla going thru the weird, terrified of everything stage again. She had been doing 7pm till 7am every night, no problems. But now she totally freaks out at bed time and just screams till the point she almost vomits. She also wont go in the bath now for some reason. She gets excited at bath time but as soon as her feet touch the water, she bails. And she had been pretty well toilet trained and was using the potty all the time, but yesterday she freaked out and wouldn't go near it. Don't know what her problem is. But she gets like this sometimes. Normally lasts a week, then she'll be back to normal. It's hard work tho! She is soooo clingy at the moment!
Oh, and I got 90% for my last assignment! It's going well! Diploma here I come!

Edited to change my typos!! lol and to add that Isla got over her fear of the potty and did poos in it before. Thank goodness that didn't last long! Hopefully we get a full night sleep tonight now!

Ouchies about your back Em but yay, Not long till you head away on Holiday! Jealous!!

I totally need a holiday, so friggen stressed out right now! I'm looking forward to this year being over lol. Can't believe it's coming up to 1yr since the ground started shaking (and never stopped...). Was upstairs at Mum's when I was picking Isla up earlier and there was a good jolt. 'only' a 3.3 but enough to get your heart racing!

Not long now Tiff, you must be getting excited!

Jealous of you ladies using cloth naps and buying cool new ones! Isla had been in cloth naps full time from about 5 months old but she kept getting infections 'down there'. It got real nasty at one point and scabbed and has left a big scar But it will go away eventually. So she is in disposables now cause it seems to be the only way to keep the infection away.Doc doesn't know why. Bit of a bummer.

Found out what DF's work are doing for their Xmas do this year... flying all staff up to Auckland for the night, putting us up at the Copthorne after having dinner, drinks and dancing aboard a 72ft Catamaran out in the harbour! Oooh swanky! lol Will have to buy myself a new outfit! It's on the 10th of Dec so we will be newly married, so will be nice to get a night by ourselves! Bit nervous about leaving Isla in CHCH tho... I will miss her so much and will feel so far away from her! Still haven't had a night away from her and I'm so sad that on our wedding night she will be staying away from us. How sad is that, most people can't wait to have a night alone! lol

I hope everyone else is good!! I'm going into hospital on Thursday to finally have my lymphnodes removed and will be in there for about 5days and not be able to exercise for 6wks

Just a quick update on us, had the results of DF's latest scan today and he is responding perfectly to treatment, doc is really happy and is hopeful that they are on the right track for a cure. Got to take him in for a blood transfusion tomorrow but other than low blood count he is doing really well.

We have decided to go on holiday when his treatment is finished, probably Fiji for a sneaky island wedding. Wow Lisa, thats so nice about getting the bridesmaid dress and the other designer offering you a wedding dress aswell!

Had to go to the chiropractor and have xrays of my back this morning. Not looking good! I hurt it a few weeks ago but he said there is an area that looks 'chronic' and I think it was from the epidural. My back has never been the same since and I think now that I have a job where im sitting on my butt all day makes it worse. Cant wait for the warmer/lighter weather when I can start walking after work again.

Hey all

T minus 26 days untill our wee man should be here
Hes 3/5 engaged have a midwife appointment tomorrow finish work on friday my mum doesnt think i will last untill the end of th month lol

Belle has just got back from sydney saturday just gone shes got her first flu :( so is sadly on ventolin whiche and dh knew wld come at some point due to us both being asthmatic she cant be diagnosied untill shes two but if shes had another bout of it before them we will push to get her tested as they diagnosied me at 6 months after spending 4 months in hospital

She had a ball in aussie left occasionally walking came home and thats all she does now is walk everywhere close to running now

omg and I've just had a call from a designer wanting to make me a wedding dress free of charge! What a bugger I've already got one grrrrrr oh well lol.
Oh and re TT....... Isla only had 2 wet nappies so far today cause has done the rest of her pee pees in the potty. She poos in the potty everytime now as well. She loves sitting on the potty. Quin has been constantly sick, it's doing my head in and he's got a heart murmur so that' being checked tomorrow. I go into hospital next week and Thomas has just spent 2 days at starship so it's all go for us. I'm the same with TT, might wait until the warmer months before we tackle that one.
He tells me when he is going to do a poo but throws a tanty when I get the potty out so don't think he is quite ready yet.

Yay for a holiday Emma, I am so jealous.

Hi ladies, haven't been in here in yonks so have a lot of reading to do! Will give a quick run down on how we've been and will pop back in later after the midget is in bed to catch up on the rest.
Wedding is less than 16wks away now, creeping up on us fast! I'm sure most of you have caught up on my dress drama but have found a new dress now, it's gorgeous, and a lady from a dress place heard about my bad experience with ordering online and receiving duds so she is going to donate a bridesmaids dress! Nice ay
Study is, well, not going as great as I'd hoped. I just never have the time for it so the next few assignments I'm really going to have to knuckle down and get them done!! I have till March to finish the course tho but with the wedding in a few months time, I wont really get a lot of time for studying! Stressful times!
Isla STILL not walking. She walks around furniture etc and can push her pram around but she has no confidence on her feet whatsoever. She doesn't even stand up unless she is holding onto something. Kinda stressing that she wont be walking by the time the wedding comes round!! Hopefully she walks soon!!!! It's so frustrating. She is so clever tho. COming up with heaps of words etc now and doing puzzles for 3yrs +. She is very much a thinker. She is a bit of a nurturer as well. She is always putting blankets over her toys and making them kiss each other. She has a few my little ponies and she builds little houses for them to go into. Super cute.
We've decided to start TTC in Jan next year. We are only going to have 2 so wanted them close (ish) together. I will probably then be a stay at home Mum cause my Mum wont have the time or energy to look after 2 kiddies, and there is no point me working if we have to pay for daycare.
So yea, that's pretty much us at the moment. Looking forward to next year cause a) I wont be planning a wedding anymore, b) will almost be finish studying and c) will be trying for another bub which means no more work! YAY! I need to RELAX!!!!!!!
