But babies are cute and snuggly.
I do a load of nappies/wipes everyday. and then theres whites, colours, towels. sheets, delecates, Dhs icky work gear, sometimes woolens, and lights that i'm too scared to put in with either whites or colours.

Went out this morning to the opening of the extension on westfield. We ow have a country road YAY!!!! and some other shops that i did n't really take notice of. Got me a good bag with lots of stuff in it. Excitement. Oh I bought another thin lizzy.

We're going away for the weekedn to IL's house. They won't be therew though. We'll have a huge 2 story house, sky TV, a gourmet kitchen, loads of food and spa pool all to ourselves for 3 days. Well Saturday we are going over to the MT to visit IL's but meh. OMG the fun.

Pinky slept 10 -715. .

Claire ohhh and baby hawk. When it arrives we'll have a visit so I can have a look. I think I want a beco. I know it's expensive but they look so cool.

We could start a new thread in the 'first baby' section Thats where the baby thread used to be before they added our on "Due in 2010" etc......

Man alive its windy.

I don't know whether i'm looking forward to another baby or not, cause it'll be the last one and once its over thats it no more bellies or babies.

Me too, but we have decided that 2011 will be a baby free year. So 2012 it will be on again. I need to get off these drugs before I have monkey #2 - or at least onto some more pregnancy friendly ones, and I have to be on these ones for a year.

Only 4 loads a week Kahlia? Lordy I can do that in one day!! I generally average at least 2 loads a day, and about another 3 in the weekend (sheets, towels etc). A 1 kg box of powder is lucky to last 2 weeks round here.

Mainly music was fun. Then I went and got some more nurofen for Cale, and did a few groceries for this weekend (Hastings here we come!). But it is such wild weather here today, I nearly did a Mary Poppins!!

OT coming this afternoon, and Cale is entertaining me. He thinks bibbibbib noises are hilarious. He was laughing so hard when I said that while putting his bib on. I made me laugh .

I wanna go to sleep but silly appointment. Its good to get all this support but it gets a bit much some times. Especially today, when I have the house to myself.

The way I look at it is, if one wee babe can fill you with so much love, happiness and wonder, then imagine two! Plus, I miss that tiny baby stage, even though it was HARD going. Had a very yummy yum cha lunch- Ella thought it was great and Tom was a angel and sat on the highchair sucking on his beef bone and then spent the rest of the time blowing raspberries at the people behind us. The people at the restaurant were amazed that he was only 6 months old and was already 'eating' yum cha

 

Oooohhh tutus Pillow- would love to see a photo. Have just this week brought Ella a  ballet tutu dress for xmas, but if you are just making the skirts I would love to have a look as well-  she loves playing dress up, so the more the merrier.

 

Exciting about #2 Rette. Fx that you don't get so sick this time...but at least you know now to get the strong stuff.

We use soapnuts, they are great but u have to stuff out the machine straight away or it stains thw clothes. I still do a powder wash every 3-4 nappy cycle and clothes too, they leave them lovely and soft. I also drop eucalyptus oil with the naps.

I use persil front loader stuff and we go through a 5kg bag in 3 months! Considering we've got two VERY hairy dogs and a reflux baby. But additionally to that I also use totsbots nappy detergent for nappies..........

Nothing exciting happening here. I'd better find something to do before I go onto the Nature Baby website for some retail therapy. We are VERY skint at the moment and trying to save for the America trip so the last thing I need is more clothes for the girl. Hmm, but I want her to look good, so maybe....

Is it definitely Coffee Club tomorrow at 11am? I agree with M2ET that it's nice to be able to sit on the floor with the little 'uns. It is expensive but hopefully the weather will play ball and next week we can have our lovely picnic.

I gave up my OiOi nappy bag in the beginning of spring. It was lovely for winter (being a wool tweed), but yes, way too heavy in weight and fabric for spring/summer. Lol. I just use an old plain shoulder bag of mine now. It fits on the buggy handle bars perfectly, and it blk, so just blends in

I have finally convinced loml it's more financially beneficial for us to have our babies close together in age, than to spread them out. Woo hoo! I'm really keen for another, asap! We're having a home day today too. Dr Google tells me that M did have a night terror last night and that over-fatigue is the cause. Which makes sense because she was awake at an appointment I had for about three hours, and every other sleep during the day was interrupted. Poor wee lamb. So, a nice calm day today for us all!

Who uses soap nuts? I've had a sample and tried it but found it not super effective in getting everyday stains out (dirty socks etc) so not very impressed atm but I want to give it another try with oxygen bleach as a stain remover + soap nuts in the wash. Oh gawd, M just woke up with what I can only assume is a night terror. Screaming and turning her head to and fro with her eyes wide open, but not seeing me or DH standing next to the cot. We were terrified as she is not a screaming type baby. Eventually she woke up, VERY distressed and bewildered, sobbing, sniffing and hiccuping. Oh. Just awful!

I've chosen a pouch/loop sling as what I mainly need out of a sling is easy poppability, plus easy to keep in a hand/nappy bag.

ohk didnt go to quiz night. OMG no Bessiebear, I looked into it, and as much as I loved it it was FAR too expensive for my wee bank account. I got the babyhawk, well I ordered the babyhawk - I got a custom made one so its coming from overseas. Can't wait for it to arrive!

Lol to the image of Ev and Ryan, I can just see it.

Of course you can join in Rette. Some babies can really go for it hey? I never realised how loud some babies could be until I went and had a day at the family centre. Cale is really quiet in comparison!

We've had a friend and her 4 month old over today. That baby can CRY! We were getting ready to go out for a walk to a cafe, and Daisy was so beside herself, scream-crying, I had to ask my friend to take her up the drive to the road whilst I got Ewok and I ready. It was really upsetting Ewok, not to mention stressing me out! I don't know how my friend copes, she has nerves of steel and a cool cucumber composure

Cute beenie. Tyler sat in the trolley like that last week after we'd done the groceries at pak n save and had to switch him from babyseated trolley we went fast down the ramp and he had a real good laugh.

Claire I went to get more nurofen yesterday and our pharmacy had the 200ml one come with a free teething toy. It's a whopping $27 but hey, it'll las longer and we got a free toy.

I'm still feeing crappy. Just popped to the supermarket, no baby capsule trollys left so put her in the baby seat thing at the front of the trolly like a big kid...and she loved it! kicking her feet, holding on and smiling and squealing much to the delight of most of the shoppers!

Gah, I just want today to end. Cale is beside himself, has been all day - I think these toofy pegs are getting close finally, his gums are all white and it looks like both of the bottom ones are going to come through at once. My poor wee baby .

Been baking all morning.

OMG wnet grocery shoping last night and I spent way to much. I even cu back on heaps of stuff. I think I'm going to have to go hippie and grow vege's and make my own cleaners again. Gah.

2 mornings in a row I've had E in my bed from 5.30. I switched the heater off in her room on Saturday so i think she was cold. But it took her a few days to work it out.
