Wonders you find on Ohbaby, I had this query too, but kept the water the same & then though how the hell do I give it to him.

I ended up syringing it but will go & get one of those droppers.

Do they get used to the taste?

Each dose is 2 sachets- so u can give 2 sachets 6 times a day. Try before feeds- often works better, and is easier to get them to take it when they hungry. Check out cryingoverspiltmilk website for info on administering the reflux meds.
I ( and lots of others I have recommended this to) have found that mixing with 10 mls cooled boiled water, and using a large medicine dropper that u can get for like $3 from chemist is best way to give it. You can they suck all the medication up into the dropper in one go, put the skinny end out the side of baby's cheek, and gently administer by releasing the dropper. I've just got back from the Dr who has put my wee man on Gaviscon for suspected reflux, but I have a Q about the dosage.

it says if the baby is over 4.5kg (mine is 5.1) then you should give 2 sachets - ie: 2 doses at a time. but it's not clear whether you're supposed to double the amount of water as well - 10ml to mix instead of 5 etc.

Also - the box says not to give more than 6 doses in 24hrs. If I'm giving him 2 sachets each time, does that mean I can only give it to him 3 times??

Help!!
