Doesnt matter if she doesnt do nything in the potty, its more to get her familiar with it & what its for. Some kids r ready sooner than others - my oldest was 2 & 1/2 b4 we even started tt him but Liam was doing wees on the potty at 12mths.

I do like the idea of the overalls/onesuits. Otherwise do u still have a babycom from wen she was little? U could always set it up & listen out 4 her waking up so u can run in there & hopefully catch her in time

If she can't grab the griptabs at the front then she may think that they have gone and stop trying. After a few days of putting it on backwards she may give up and you can put the mappy on the right way again.

If it is happening around the same time each day, you could try and change her nap time so that she doesn't have any of the art materials at her disposal in bed? Oh - and 18 months isn't too early for toilet training - I know a few people who have started their kids around there - you could see if she is interested in the potty/toilet. If not, I agree with the other posts - tape her up if necessary.
