I'm glad things are on the mend. I know that one of the most common pieces of advice you hear about pregnancy is 'listen to your body.' Thanks for all the support girls.
My GP had a poke of my tum and seemed to think I had some inflamation which apparently combined with everything moving back into shape was probably making things a bit more painfull than they needed to be. They did nick my cervix in the op which caused quite a bit of bleeding, and this is probably the cause of the inflamation.

I did has worse cramps a few days after the d&c. I hope your appointment went ok Didi. I didn't have any cramping at all (and minimal bleeding) after my D&C, so it's good that you're getting it checked out to make sure everything is ok.

I agree better to be safe than sorry. And yep crying is totally normal. Didi I wouldn't worry about crying, they are well used to it. I'm with Lemongirl with that one, my last DnC wasn't a good one either, long recovery because nothing was done about pain and bleeding. Go and see your doctor/MW, just to be sure

First of all Didi, sorry for you loss.

Miscarriage sucks a lot.

To be honest the only time I had really, really nasty cramps is when they gave me the pill before they did the procedure and I hadn't had any pain medication yet.

I had a pretty heinous and long recovery from my D&C (3 weeks including a hospital stay for infection due to retained product) but I knew from the outset wasn't quite 'right' and really wished I had been a lot more assertive.

So my only piece of advice is that if you are worried, go see your doctor. Hi Ladies, I had a D&C on Tuesday, I had what I would relate to normal AF cramping Tuesday and Wednesday, then yesterday and today the cramping has become worse. Was bad enough to wake me up and keep me up last night and this is probably way TMI but when #2's is happening the cramps get really bad too.
Just wondering is this normal?? I had kind of expected the cramps post op to be worse then getting better as the days go on.
