I dont think your at a higher risk of MCing again (unless there is a reason for it, like low progesterone etc) Ive had one MC and am PG now, a friend had two and now has her son.
I am pretty sure you are more likely to MC your first pregnancy (a lot of the time people dont even know they are PG, AF is just a couple of days late etc).
If you do (unfortunately) MC again if you have an understanding GP they can do some basic fundamental checks, but not all will.

Sorry for your loss

Statistically you are at no higher risk of having a m/c when you have had just one m/c. So that means no increased risk of a m/c after having one, but it's something like 1 in 4 pregnancies that do end in m/c.

Sorry that might not have been too helpful. If you are unfortunate enough to suffer another m/c then I think they still don't do any investigations it's only once you have had three or more that they start to look into any possible problems.

Lots of women have 1 then go on to have a perfectly healthy child the next time they get pregnant, myself included.

thats not an easy question to answer.

some people dont miscarry again, where as others like myself go on to have 2 or 3 miscarriages or more before concieving and carrying full term.

Hi ... I miscarried at the beginning of November and we're going to try again in the new year (after we've had a full cycle). I was just wondering what the chances are of miscarrying a second time?
