Fingers crossed the recurrent m/c clinic (which is where we went) can give you some answers.

Alison - we've been referred to the genetic specialists at Greenlane Hospital (in auckland). No idea yet when the appt is but already I have hundreds of questions for them.

I have started another link earlier labelled PGD is you want to read more about my story.

This process for us all got started off by going to a genetic specialist, where they tested my husbands DNA and found the gene mutation that causes the problem. Good luck with your appointment and just ask any question.

What City is the genetic specialist in that you are seeing?

Regards Alison

I'd love to hear some good luck stories.

We've been told we can keep trying naturally (odds are we'll have a good pregancy at some stage but the downside is theres an increased risk of more miscarriages) or look at Preimplantion Genetic Diagnosis (IVF with gene testing). Meeting with the genetic specialists to get the statistics and low-down on what this all means, but like I said, I'd love to hear some good news stories.

cheers
Karen
