Ranitidine should start working within 48 hours if you are on the correct dose.

It is the best drug ever IMO! We don't use gaviscon anymore and just give the ranitidine 3 times a day.

Isla needed both gaviscon before her 6 feeds a day, plus the ranitidine twice a day. How long does Ranitidine (Peptisoothe) start to work.
