Hi ya, I know for us with Male factor infertility my weight didnt give us any problems when we did IUI using doner sperm. I am not 100% sure but can you speak to a fertility clinic or maybe check out www.fertilityassociates.co.nz and see if they have any articles relating to that?

Hi all, does anyone know if IUI is compromised if you are overweight? I'm about 30 kgs overweight (working on getting it down) and just finished my 3rd cycle of clomiphene. I have ovulated each time but all BFN's. I have heard that excess weight can reduce the effectiveness of clomiphene.

I'm considering IUI and just wondering if anyone who is overweight has had personal experience with IUI that they could share with me.
